If you are new to internet marketing you probably aren't sure which online money making opportunity is best. You've probably gotten a lot of different information on the best way to turn a profit. Maybe someone's invited you to participate in an opportunity that didn't seem to be legitimate. There's so much out there that it's easy to become overwhelmed by it all. Despite all this, there are still plenty of real ways to make money online.

Banned by Adsense - need alternatives
Hi everyone,

I am hoping for some advise on an alternative to Adsense.

I was banned a few years back (I still don't know why after months of trying to get Google to respond). I was new to IM and while I knew not to click my own ads, there must have been something else I did wrong.

Anyway, I am looking for the best alternative. I know there are a lot out there, but I have been finding that not all give the right kind of ads related to your subject.

Any suggestions?

Try adbrite, my favorite. If you are earning below $100/month then use adbrite. Their
minimum paycheck amount is $5 and above.

Is adbrite's earning per click better than adsense?

I have read on other sites that Adsense is the best as far as payouts and that nothing compares. Since I have no chance of getting adsense back I am looking for the best one as well. I will try Adbrite.

Although never worked with it but I have heard a lot of positive review of it but to be frank nothing can beat adsense. You should try calling if you haven't already done so they may let you open your account. As far as email is concerned they get millions of email everyday.

I had decent success with Chitika, their ads can be set up to generate ads specific to search terms entered by the visitor.

You can try clickbank ads which looks like adsense if it is suitable for the niches and if you have blog you might be sale also the adspace but still its largely depends on the niches which you are promoting .

RE: Banned by Adsense - need alternatives
Hey Sharon, Did you have success in getting your Adsense account back?
If not, what about opening another account in the name of a close relative such as mother, father, brother or sister (someone you really, really trust!)? Set up a really decent blogger blog with a new google account in that new persons name and apply for adsense account. You should get it opened in a week or so and then you can slowly start to add your previous domains for tracking.

RE: Banned by Adsense - need alternatives
two ways to get your account back:

1. use your company name if you have one

2. if you live in two countries you can easily get a new account with the same name.

Option has been used in my case since Adsense banned me for no reason.

Sound promising like every sales letter!

Anybody tried this?

I had my Adwords account banned awhile back and when I wrote in to appeal, they simply refer you to their terms and conditions.

I was new to Adwords and was testing a few clickbank products at the same time. Google wont even bother to give you a warning. They simply just banned your account.

RE: Banned by Adsense - need alternatives
A few good alternatives would be... Chitika, AdBrite, Kontera, and Bidvertister. Although none are nearly as good as Adsense. You are probably better off just using other monetization methods.

RE: Banned by Adsense - need alternatives
It should be easy to set up a company (a simple LLC or DBA will do), link a bank account to it and apply for another Adsense account.

If an account is banned, it makes sense to never use the banned domains and content again although we could probably spin and reuse that content (articles/posts).
