AutoResponders
Does anyone have experience with 'trafficswarm.com"?....they seem to be quite professional, informative, and credible in their advertising. Their cost is $17.95/month for UNLIMITED autoresponders....seems outrageous but wherever I go to verify this claim...it is substantiated.

I don't know about that one but I recently purchased an Aweber account for $19 / month and I have to say, their service is second to none. I even got a personal call from one of their account managers to make sure I was OK with everything. There seems to be two or three really big autoresponder names out there (and lots of others). I went for the easy option and went for a 'big brand' name. Lyndon

RE: AutoResponders
Hey Lyndon,
Your are absolutely correct...aWeber is the biggest name out there...BUT - it is possible that trafficswarm @ $17.95/mo for UNLIMITED autoresponders, PLUS, PLUS....given that give good service, etc - might just be the better deal. BTW - I have absolutely nothing to do with them...just asking questions ??? loksch (07-13-2009 10:04 PM)llyndonium Wrote:(07-13-2009 09:17 PM)loksch Wrote: Does anyone have experience with 'trafficswarm.com"?....they seem to be quite professional, informative, and credible in their advertising. Sorry I am not an experience webber yet, but from the searching I have done and just by looking at addresses of links to click on to go to info I notice a lot had "aweber" in there and I have seen it with the so called heavy hitters that are making the BIG buck$ so I am thinking Aweber would be the one to go for for best quality, standards and support. Just a thought. I will definately post how it works out for me, because I am planning on going with them with I get to that part of the Web Biz building. Best to you, Robski |

I know that Perry Marshall has been promoting Infusionsoft autoresponder products. http://www.infusionsoft.com/. though it looks very expensive. |

I just checked out Infusionsoft and it seems more costly than what some one brand new is going to need at first. The more I check into auto responders, the more I am finding that Awber seems to be the most tried and true and at a good price. Robski |

RE: AutoResponders
My understanding is that TrafficSwarm is simply a traffic exchange program wherein you post an ad, you get clicks on your ad in exchange for the times you click on other ads. You can also buy clicks to your ad as a Pro member, which is I think where the %17.95 per month comes in.
The best use of trafficswarm would be to post "squeeze pages" that would offer something free to anyone who subscribes to your list via an autoresponder form on your squeeze page. I am not aware of a TrafficSwarm auto responder as such. Aweber seems to pretty much lead the pack among the gurus, though Get Response may be a better buy. Rich K http://networkonlinereviews.com |

RE: AutoResponders
I have had Get Response for about a year and Aweber for the last six years. None of them compare to A Weber. Now that they have changed the look of the platform, it is even easier to use. Their customer service is second to none. Their training videos are top of the line also. They are very easy to follow.

RE: AutoResponders
I'm using AutomateYourList which is M. Rasmussen's affiliate version for Aweber. I don't know how he can pull this off but it's cheaper than Aweber and you get the same thing, even the help desk is Aweber's. So if you are considering Aweber (which seems to be the first choise for many), might as well get it cheaper.

And are you make money with the things he teaches? I would think the way he gets the discount is bacause he does volume so instead only buying only one he is sending lots of customers to Aweber. Best to you Success, Robski |

RE: AutoResponders
For me, it's Aweber only. Think of it this way, it doesn't matter HOW big your list is, if they aren't GETTING the emails. I've signed up for quite a few different email lists, and Aweber goes to my inbox almost ALL of the time. I know that I'll NEVER use GetResponse.. the reason why? Almost ALL of the emails I've gotten from a getresponse list went to my "bulk" or "spam" folder. I had to get it out from there to confirm it. I don't trust that the "average" internet user would even KNOW about that, or do it. (this is of course, excluding those of us that are into IM, most of us know)
I've seen the same thing with self-hosted autoresponders as well, they go to bulk or spam box. (meaning, the autoresponder softwares you install on your server and mail out from it) |

RE: AutoResponders
Completely agree with Blargo here... For such a small difference in cost... It will end up costing you more money in the long term...
I'm a bit of a mail getter as I sign up to quite a few lists as I like to know what the people in the industry are doing... whenever I sign up to a list from aweber... i almost always get it... getresponse is most of the time and the others not so much... When everyone says "the money is in the list"... why save a few dollars per month to jeopardise that? |

(09-02-2009 02:18 AM)peter Wrote: Completely agree with Blargo here... For such a small difference in cost... It will end up costing you more money in the long term... Hey Peter, thanks. To add to the above I'll say that I HATE that Aweber changed their pricing structure and it's now more expensive to use them. That said, I've found NO better option than them, for all of the reasons I've said above. GetResponse *used* to have the advantage over Aweber in that once Aweber updated their prices, GR was still the same low price. That has since changed, and now GR charges just as much as Aweber. |

RE: AutoResponders
Have you or any other readers ever heard of or used a Free AutoResponder offered by guys named Joe Johnson and David Smith from SUTeamBuliders.com?
I am leary of "FREE OFFERS" - Too good to be true of what is the catch?! Thanks in advance for any experience, help or advise. RE: AutoResponders
Hi...
Using Aweber here. I wonder if a lot of these new autoresponder websites are essentially just licensed versions of Aweber? I can give you an example in the webhosting world: Hostgator who is now HUGE and even has billboards all over the place and has made it on the INC 500!!!...actually leases dedicated servers from another webhosting company called The Planet. I can't say for sure if Hostgator's whole infrastructure is only with The Planet, but it's interesting nonetheless. I draw that analogy because I wanted to make a point that you could see a lot of autoresponder sites cropping up and behind the scenes they are really just running on an Aweber platform. |

There customer support has also been very responsive when I've needed help. I use Aweber for the forms on my landing pages, and floating dialog boxes, and managing my lists. |
