Great discussion. I have just read the whole thread and like the new features to be included. The author of the program is very responsive to every issue raised here and he is prepared to include all the features requested. I appreciate his attitude.

Earlier, I was waiting for the controversies to settle and now it is over I would be downloading this software pretty soon.

We would probably have been a bit quicker normally but we have just been through a 7-day national holiday in China, and since all of the programmers live there, not much work has been done during this time. However, we're back on track now

Great! Hey SC I was wondering... What are you getting out of this? You spending so much time and effort into developing this software, but getting nothing out of it because you give it away. You must getting something. What is it?

Currently all we get is a list - in itself not to be sneezed at, but we are also slowly but surely enhancing our reputation, which will pave the way for our other products. Additionally, later there will be functions added to SC that are payable. This does not mean that the current version(s) of SC will change to be paid, they will always be free.

That's great. I think that your willingness to listen to people on possible improvements is a fantastic way to earn a reputation.

Regarding the "openness" I refered to with TBS.. I was able to achieve that with SC by not only maximizing it but I found out that the borders were movable. I could click and drag the "window" inside to make any area I wanted bigger. So no problem there.

I have recently tried the free version of Content Hurricane. Is it still being used as there is a lot less talk about it at the moment? I like what it does and have used on one of my posts. Has anyone else got any good or bad things to say about it?

We have many users. There is not one single case of anything adverse happening from Google as a result of using it. On the contrary, many of our users swear by it and use it every day.

That was always the original intention, unfortunately we just weren't prepared for the sequence of events that followed its release.

Anyway, looks like we are back on track now, the naysayers are conspicuous by their absence, and we can focus fully on the good points of SC.

I am the developper of SpinnerChief and today the new version of spinnerchief got released and the update contains the functions you asked here .

Here we go>

Update Time: 10/10/2010

Update Introduction:

1. Added auto-select previous/next synonym function.
2. Added Paragraph/Sentence edit mode, now you can rewrite Paragraph/Sentence more easily.
3. Submit article(s) to blogs directly from SC, now it supports wordpress and blogger, and we are adding more.
4. Batch spin function - support to spin batch articles from files and save to files automatically.
5. Export article with other syntax format like [|] [/] %\% and so on.
6. Add function to set file prefix when save spun articles.
7. Resource box - Add resource text to every spun article automatically.
8. Add View Settings menu - You have more control to the workplace now.
9. Add function to save artcle to RTF format.
10.Add function to load article with RTF format.

Upgrading:
Adding more blog/article directories to spinnerchief
Share and use other users' synonyms.

Ok I just tried the batch processing and it worked great! There was on problem though.

I selected five Ultra Spinnable Articles to spin five articles from each. For three of them, it gave me five articles, for one of them it gave me only two and for another one it gave me four articles.

Not complaining too loud though because this is WAY better than I've ever had it. Thank you again!

I think TBS works amazingly well. It definitely really is "the best spinner" that I have ever used. Obviously no spinner is as good as re-writing articles manually but TBS gets the job done quite well.
