I see this all the time - people advertising a PR3, PR4, PR5 etc link only to get a profile page filled out with a link on it. the domain itself may be the PR advertised, but the page itself that the link is on is not rated.
Seems to be widely done is that misleading or acceptable ? |

RE: is it really a PR3 link ?
It depends on if the service they are offering says that you will be getting a PR3 link, or a link on a PR3 domain.

RE: is it really a PR3 link ?
most of them sell PR 3 DOMAIN links. It isn't just possible to get many PR3+ profile links unless the profile is well established

RE: is it really a PR3 link ?
Whether they may be misleading or not I know there have been tests done by many marketers when building links on a PR3 domain, whether directly on homepage or not, still helps with link juice.
I'm still speculating whether this works on a subdomain like: page.domain.com Has anyone had experience with this? |

RE: is it really a PR3 link ?
Hi I am new to this - so what is the difference between a PR3 link and a link ON a PR3 domain - surely they are both backlinks - i don't see the distinction here - but it is obviously important the way you are all talking

RE: is it really a PR3 link ?
Unfortunately many link building services do try to mislead people. When paying for such services, always keep in mind, getting a link from a pr0 page of a pr10 domain is the same as getting a link from a pr0 page of a pr0 domain.
