for product launches what should the main keyword we should be targetting "product name" or "product name review"...what usually brings in more search?

"Product name" by a large margin.

That keyword will get about 80% of all the searches for the product.

ah ic. thanks. I've been trying to rank for an upcoming product launch, but man top spots are filled with people with thousands of backlinks to their page!

for a upcoming product launch im ranking top 10 for "the product name"..but when i just put in "product name" without typing in "the" im like 5 pages back..when building links should the anchor contain "the" or is it fine without. I thought the official name was THE PRODUCT NAME but its actually just PRODUCT NAME, without "the". I wonder if that will have an impact on traffic

I would recommend making the anchor text "product name" most of the time. This way google associates "product name" with your site most often. And if you have "the product name" in the title of the pages, google will associate it with that as well.

I did a little research for product names that start with "The". I found that more than 2/3 of all searches for those products are done without the "The" despite the fact that the product name may start with "The". I recommend that you concentrate most of your backlinking anchor texts to be just "Product Name" (without the "The")

Also, if I have correctly guessed your site, you should link all images with your affiliate link. You have an image that links to another page on your site. Your goal is to get people to click on your aff link. People like to click on images. So if you have your aff link in images, when they click on the image, it will take them to the product site.

Cash back is not allowed for this product. If you make any sales they will be voided and you will not get any commission. Then the customer may look to you to give him what you promised.

This is not new. Product creators regularly do not allow cash back on their products.

Most of them also do not allow promotional methods portraying their product as a scam in any way.

You're welcome. Keep in mind that if you've put that in your title, you must change it immediately. Google will take it's time to update it. It could take several days or more for them to update it. You DO NOT want it that way on launch day!
