Hello all,
I work a full-time job, and part time manage my small business(should turn into full-time next year) and i learn internet marketing in the process. In the last few months i have learned as much as i can about IM to make a living off it and to learn how to promote my business in the internet. What I've discovered in the process that there are a lot of scammers out there promoting info products (on how to make money online) that seem silly. Ex: How you can make 5000 in just 15 minutes. And that should be beginners stuff! There's no way a beginner will make such a money in such a short time, it's totally unrealistic, but still people looking to make quick money will buy into this and hope to succeed. On top of that those info products in some cases cost a lot of money. So people buy over and over again and spend huge sums of money on info that doesn't really do anything for them. When i stumbled on Salty Droids blog, it was a real eye opener on the whole IM niche and how big name marketers (Kern, Reese, Dale, Jenkins and others) are really a bunch of hi-profile scammers. I'm guilty in spending $27 on an info product (from WF) that hasn't helped me that much in making money, but it contained a lot of info on IM in general (WP setup, article marketing, backlinks and more). I've created 3 CB product promotion sites (none are IM niche related). Finding anything solid to promote that doesn't look like a scamming product is hard, so i decided i will start promote physical products as an Amazon affiliate (that's how i stumbled on Vita Vees forum). I found VV videos on how to setup amazon authority site really helpful and hope that he will finish the series soon ![]() I have read the threads on VV From 0 to Profits and as i have understood, it deals on how to promote IM niche product launches? And that some of you have had success implementing the methods he uses. As I'm not really interested in that niche because of all the scamming that's going on and the fact that newbies will loose a lot of money investing into these products. Also i think that one how's recommending and promoting IM releated products should have extensive experience as an affiliate marketer making money on promoting non IM releated products. I would ask from you all this: - Do you make any money from other niches than IM as an affiliate marketer? - If you do, how you do it and do you promote physical or info products? Here are some questions for Vita Vee: As i have seen from your site (eUserreviews) you do a lot of IM niche related aff. marketing. Dou you promote non IM related products? If so what kind of % does it make of your aff. marketing income? Have you thought about releasing a working newbie friendly blueprint product on promoting non IM releated info and physical products? I would certainly be interested in such an info product. Thanks for reading and answering, Lennart |

I don't think you necessarily need vast experience in non IM marketing to promote IM related products. But you do need some knowledge of Internet Marketing to be able to understand what the product you're promoting does and whether or not it's legit. I have a few sites that are not in the IM niche that I make money from. A couple of them were created following Brian Johnson's Commission Ritual. That is a fantastic course for newbies to learn the basics and how to get a simple site up and running targeting low competition keywords. They do sell physical products. I also have a site where I sell amazon products that gives me a nice steady income. The great thing is that after I set it up and built some backlinks for it, I haven't had to touch it anymore. No work but steady income, nice. The strange thing is that this was one small technique from a larger course that ended up being a scam product. The product had great potential but the creators of it promised lots and lots of things that they did not deliver on. They were too interested in moving on and promoting other people's stuff to worry about their own, after they had our money. It was pretty disgusting. I will not promote another product by them again.(10-28-2010 09:45 AM)newtoIM Wrote: Here are some questions for Vita Vee: Vita is creating a video series right now that shows how to use the Ultra Spinnable articles to promote non IM niche products. It is only available for the customers of the USA's. They are very powerful articles. If you want, you can read a bit about them on my site. RE: My thoughts on IM and some questions as well
Hi Jack,
Nice to see you are making money from other sources. I got a question about the amazon aff. site you have. Did you have the site ready for amazon, before you joineid their affiliate program. I have read somewhere that to become an affiliate at amazon, one needs to have the site ready with the content. Is this true? Thanks, Lennart |

RE: My thoughts on IM and some questions as well
I got approved as an affiliate about a year ago. I was still very much a noob and had ideas of making an amazon site. I never did it at the time, and honestly don't remember the steps I went through to get it approved. Perhaps it was different at the time, but I don't remember having a site already set up... But I'm not really sure. I didn't actually start using it until earlier this year.
