Too Much SENuke Maybe

Too Much SENuke Maybe
Hi Guys

I have been working on a new domain name recentyl. The domain is around 3 months old. I am promoting product launches with this website.

I was using Ultra Spinnable Articles to post with SENuke. I was also using these articles on UAW at a submission rate of 15 a day. ( I had around 5 runs going at one time to different URLs).

The thing was though I was writing only a few reviews that were long and unique. The rest of the pages were for products that weren't released yet so these pages just said "Review Coming Soon".

I was building links to some of these pages.

I wasn't creating any regular posts apart from my reviews so I think this is where I went wrong. I should of posted everyday with unique original cotent.

So now my website is sandboxed. I was ranking high for product names but I'm now nowhere to be seen.

Has anybody else been in this situation? I've read I need to build quality links and post new original content. (Are SENuke links really high quality. Would ezinearticles submissions get me out?)

While I am in this position I have invested in some domain names that are exact match keywords for the product names.

I would love to hear the thoughts of some of the experts on this forum.

Thanks for your time.

RE: Too Much SENuking Maybe
Hey,

If anyone is an expert on being sand boxed I would like to think that I have had as much experience as anyone Smile.

What you need to do is the following:-

1) Make sure you are not breaking Googles guidelines such as hidden text etc...
2) Create regular unique content(prererably daily)
3) Keep building backlinks to your site even though you are sandboxed

Senuke links are good, but you will need to build more links from other sources as well to keep it varied.

I cant say too much more as I dont want to give away "From 0 To Profits" secrets. Big Grin

I have one of my sites being penalised at the minute by Google which isnt very nice, but I think I know why it happened and it should hopefully bounce back stronger than ever very soon.

Hope that helps.

Hi Rob

Thanks for that. I kind of knew I had to keep posting regular unique content. It's quiate hard when you have a full time job but I should have been doing that from the start.

I've been doing a bit of blog commenting to get some varied backlinks. These aren't backlinks using Scrapebox but genuine comments on sites I like to read.

Hey again Rob

How long did it take for your site to come out.

I'm thinking possibly getting From 0 to Profits and starting a new fresh domain or maybe buy an aged domain from an auction.

I'm in need of getting some quick results as SENuke and USP articles and UAW are getting expensive for me.

Hey rumelphones,

Have you tried a Google search for site:yourdomain? If your pages are still showing, you're probably not sandboxed. Just Google's natural quirkiness...

Hi, first three times it took no longer than 10 days. This time I have been in the Google filter(sandbox) for 5 weeks now . Confused

Hi,
You can still be in the Google sandbox/filter and still have your rankings dropped considerably. I changed my theme and at the same time I changed my sites seo so it was a lot better. I now cannot rank any new posts, but I can still see them when I type in site:robselaney.com. I will come back , but its just a question of how long does it take Google to crawl a site as large as mine and decide to allow all posts to rank again?

Cheers

I think Google is really good at detecting changes in a site, including seo. Too much of it all at once may trigger an alert. Even if the seo changes are kosher, the fact that they are brought in indicates to Google an attempt to artificially inflate the seo value of a site.

On the other hand, google loves a site that has value to customers. So if that is the case with any site, even after seo work or sudden wholesale changes, the site should come back up in the rankings

No?

Star RE: Too Much SENuke Maybe
I don't mean this to sound condescending but if you BEHAVE you wouldn't be put in the "sandbox" where all children are! "You're worse than a 2 year old" I can still hear my mother saying that 40 years later!

Forget link building and concentrate on "like" building - the new catch-phrase for good reviews on Google Places and wherever there is a place to review websites. Get Satisfaction is another big one. Merchants Circle is good too.

If your website is naturally referred, reviewed, mentioned or otherwise talked about anywhere by a total stranger who tells others how much they enjoyed visiting your website...what do you think will happen?

Put a flyer up on every bulletin board, waiting room, car wash and every counter in every business all over your city. They flyer should simply ask people to go to your website and if they don't like something, they should tell you first so you can fix it before they leave a review.

For faster results, hand out flyers at the grocery store, in the bank or anywhere people are standing in line. They're bored anyway and will enjoy talking to someone more when they have nothing else to do but wait for the line to move. Hand out lollipops and bubblegum or balloons and they will remember that flyer and what you said a lot better.

Be sure and let us all know what happens, okay?

If you want to get out of the sandbox, then get some higher PR links from reputable sites. Check alexa's top 100 and see if you can get some links from there. Another problem is when you get links for the same keywords over and over. Try anywhere from 5 to 10 different keywords instead of just PN (product name), PN review and PN bonus.

You're on the right track with common sense in full swing - finally someone who doesn't hide that good thing too many of us forget to use. The rules for rank and position changed on 11/20 for backlinks and it's not pretty which is probably why the "important" fools running everyone into the sandbox haven't decided to inform their followers yet,

Step ahead of them by making sure all your links are within the content - contextual links to relevant sites that matter - including your own on the same server - doesn't matter. Any page you link to has to be within the content and each one of those pages have to link straight to the home page. Navigational links and gutterlinks are history and so are paid links unless privately negotiated between site owners or webmasters and all you need are 50 good ones -

1,000's are being ignored but really what did anyone expect - that's not natural - there isn't thousands of people linking to you because they've been to your site and it's all good. No, some 2.00 an hour link helper put all kinds of links to and from sites they will never know exist..

I wonder if they will come out with new SECRETS and collect money for what everyone should know anyway!!

RE: Too Much SENuke Maybe
I've noticed that making any changes to posts on my sites causes google to sandbox them. So, your best bet is to not make any huge changes. Keep using SEnuke with related articles to link to your pages and homepage.

Like she said above, bookmarking and forum profile links are going to give you minimal weight. But they do help somewhat for link diversity. I'm pretty sure though that web2.0/article links are going to be the best once google algo catches on to profile links and other types of spam. This only means that SEnuke will be more valuable!

RE: Too Much SENuke Maybe
You need to check the way your pinging is set up. There is a long-standing problem in Wordpress that causes pinging with every post and subsequent edit you do. That looks like spam causing countless numbers of blogs to be blocked from the all ping servers without notice.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's one of those problems designed to stop spammers from back-dating and re-writing posts but that just damages everyone because non-spamming perfectionists always go back to edit their posts to make them picture-perfect.

RE: Too Much SENuke Maybe
How many links does it take - I read in some articles and on sites that 10 good quality links is all you need - here your talking about hundreds from the posts I have been reading - articles at 15 per day - thats 105 per week - how many weeks did you do this or are you still submitting - How much can be said about the one thing lol - and after that you can only re-word a sentence so many times before it becomes a duplication.

I am new so this still baffles me - I know you have to do this as part of the process but - really how much is the ideal - all you ever see is you need to submit - so do I need to submit the 105 or do I need to do 105 a week forever?
