Permalink question

How can you setup your permalinks so that the url displays all categories including subcategories. For example, right now I'm using /%category%/%postname%.

What I want to do is have my website display both the parent category (reviews) and the subcategory (ummm...lets say from 0 to profits). I want it to be like this: hxxp://mywebsite.com/reviews/from-0-to-profits/from-0-to-profits-review/, but instead it shows up as hxxp://mywebsite.com/reviews/from-0-to-profits-review/

You have it correct, that's the exact way to setup the permalink structure.

So now to have it set up like this: hxxp://mywebsite.com/category/subcategory/postname

you need to structure the categories accordingly (i.e. the subcategory is under the main category)

So my permalinks are setup right?

I do have it so that the product category (in the example, from 0 to profits) is a subcategory underneath the review category, but it is only displaying the review category in the url.

you must also be sure the checkbox for your subcategory (from 0 to profits) is checked. But you do have your permalinks set up right.

It is checked within the post settings. I have the reviews category and "from 0 to profit" category checked. Is there anywhere else I should check?

EDIT: I realized the problem. I should've had only the "from 0 to profit" category checked, rather than both the parent category and product category.

This question isn't about setting up the permalinks in WORDPRESS is it? What software does this refer to?

I'm afraid I have no idea what's really going on because I joined by accident awhile back and after reading a few threads, the words VITA VEE reminded me of I Love Lucy (good sign) and then I stayed because it looks like a good place to be but now I'd like to know what everyone is talking about?

I found that awesome sounding service today but the 20 people are probably filled - I haven't made it that far.

I've been wondering about something since the end of last year when the surge of automated tools, spinning articles and now spinning videos, "blog spammenting" and "forum register-spam" which led to the 11/20/10 big Google change where 50 good backlinks privately negotiated are all you need. The rest of everything that people spam is being ignored now - even navigational links and footer links - all the gutter links, etc...

[Pure speculation but I wouldn't be surprised]
People are steadily building thousand of backlinks that Google is counting alright like a big red flag that screams ignore me, I'm trying to fool you with thousands of paid links from all over.

Question:
When so many people are going one way, isn't it time to do something different before you blend in with the rest of the pack? Doesn't standing apart make a difference in page rank and se placement?

The permalink customer URL structure may force change if too many blogs get big enough to crash within the next year or two. You can avoid that by setting your Permalinks to the 2nd or 3rd option ABOVE the custom URL that everyone uses.

Its hard to stay on topic sometimes. I used to have my very own editors on the WF until I thanked them for making sure my posts were always great. Then I added mine were so much better than the others, someone might notice if they ever missed any. Now they just ignore me except once in awhile they DELETE the whole post.
