But I have heard that lately they have gotten much more strict with the requirements and it is much more difficult now.

I signed up about 3 months ago. Glad I did also. I was using an affiliate program because I was expecting penny clicks from adsense. But as soon as I put up a leaderboard ad at the top of some pages, I started getting clicks in the 1-$3 range. I now put my affiliate ads in the sidebar.

It just occured to me that blogger.com is owned by Google, maybe that had something to do with it. I've also lived at the same address for the past 10 years, maybe that helped. Who knows?

Sorry to hear that Google is giving you the runaround. I don't understand why they have to be so enigmatic.

You should use your time to check out other ad options. I wish I could recommend some other options, but adsense is the only ppc advertiser I've ever used. I've read mixed reviews about adbrite.

I don't know if your sites are suited to affiliate programs or not, but you did mention earlier that you were using Amazon. Why not just put up some affiliate ads, and then if you're concerned about them you could take them down before you reapply to adsense.

I'm very new, but I've altered my approach a few times already, and probably will have to again.

Hopefully adsense will come to their senses. Wink

Michael
