RE: Is good ranking possible manually?
I came a cross a great program online for writing fresh content - it takes a little time to set up the initial article but after you apply the settings and make the small changes they tell you do - it does produce really different articles on the same subject. the best part is depending on whether you make the minimum or as many changes as you want - you get 10's if not 100's of articles at the push of a button. its pretty cool too you can do the resource box and titles and summary and it will rotate through them - I have a submitter too which seems to work.
Why i like this product is that i have always found ezinearticles.com hard to get my articles onto - I truely have written completely fresh unique and origianl content but it always says - NO - I tried the software I mentioned above and picked three products i had problems with the articles with on ezine and all of them went straight in FANTASTIC - and I must say they are getting more hits than my own not spun articles - I think that is fairly cool Nicholas |

Nicholas you didn't mention the name of the product and where to check for it!? Cheers, dimmy |

RE: Is good ranking possible manually?
From my own experience, I say yes it is possible to rank and make decent money with your site doing everything manually. However, when you start making some money, you can start outsourcing things, so you can focus more of your time towards building more sites or what have you.
I went from no site to ranking #1 for some of the most competitive keywords in my niche (make money online) without spending a dime (except hosting and domain). However, it took me about a year and a half to get it to rank well and start making money. Its a lot of work, but if you dont have the money, its your way out. The best part for me was that doing things manually, thought me how everything works. So, I am now familiar with the process, so when outsourcing things now, I know how much to pay people and what to expect. |

RE: Is good ranking possible manually?
Brian,
I a here to tell you, yes it is possible. Listen to my own experience; I started my blog 2 years ago or so. I didn't know anything about seo and ranking and even how to build a site. I wanted to learn everything, so I did everything manually. I didn't spend any money on anything but hosting and domain. However, I worked hard and learned by reading online forums and blogs. In less a year, I managed to rank #1 for ways to make money online. And I didn't even spend a dime on any tool or software. Of course, now that I can afford some, I do use a few here and there to speed things up. As Jack mentioned, it takes a bit time to rank, but its doable. Of course, having tools can help a lot in speeding up the process. Best of luck to you. |
