Is good ranking possible manually?
Hi guys,
I can't afford to invest in an automatic SE submission system right now. I have two questions for you... So am I banging my head against a wall if I have a niche that has some saturation already, given that I have to do manual submission and post in forums, social bookmarking etc? Is there ANY chance of competing on those terms? Secondly, Can somebody please PM me a way to make some immediate money (legally) so I can purchase a system like that! Thanks Brian : ) |

RE: Is good ranking possible manually?
Hi Brian,
Good rankings are possible but could take a while. If you are doing it manually I would recommend going after a less competitive keyword. The more competitive ones are going to pretty much require automation if you want to compete in a reasonable amount of time. I don't know how to make immediate money either legally or illegally ![]() Jack Ultra Spinnable Articles | SEONuking | Commission Vantage | Rip Curl Commissions | Affiloblueprint |

RE: Is good ranking possible manually?
Thanks Jack.
I've bought into one or two lame schemes in the recent past and have a product on my PC called Advanced Site Submitter. Any experience with it? Seems to come from a source with no website - 3883.com and submits your site to about 60 search engines. I don't know if it works for Google, but I get auto-responses from three or four obscure engines from the 60! |

No I haven't heard of that. Has it helped you in any way? Does it get you any traffic or help your ranking any?

RE: Is good ranking possible manually?
No it hasn't. Not that I can see anyway.
What do you recommend, Jack? I see you have SENuke and SEO Nuke in your sig. I reckon I need to get something in the coming weeks. Maybe next payday... which is not that soon as I am UE at the moment!! Really need to get something progressive going soon. Thanks Brian. |

RE: Is good ranking possible manually?
the best investment you can make if you are poor is Article marketing robot .. it is only a one time fee of 87-97 now
use comment kahuna/g -lock fast blog finder to help you do some manual blog commenting more quickly submitting your sites to SEs seems to be useless to me |

RE: Is good ranking possible manually?
Yes, you can definitely rank highly by doing it all manually. I've gotten sites ranked highly for many really competitive keyword phrases without using any tools or anything automatic. Of course, it's more work but nothing worth doing is easy!

RE: Is good ranking possible manually?
FOTP method is a great way to obtain high google ranks even with competitive keywords-keyphrases. I had high google ranks before purchasing LD; all made manually. So the answer is yes. But I didn't try to manually rank for super competitive keywords.

I don't know your background and achievements vij, but as I explained above, I had great rankings manually. Respected and serious marketers like Jack say that yes it is possible.

RE: Is good ranking possible manually?
Well the OP stated that his keyword has competition and is already saturated. I really don't see how he is going to compete making manual submissions, forum posts and manual bookmarking.
IMHO, if the keyword has good competition and is saturated and one is approaching with manual methods - It wont be like catching a "fast train". It will be like catching a "fighter jet". |

If I made a recommendation, then I would have to recommend what I use (otherwise I wouldn't be using it, right ). But that would cost perhaps more than you want to spend. What I use: Ultra Spinnable Articles senuke seonuking (multiple slots) MAN SEOLinkvine ArticleRanks Other private methods That said, you can get automation for less cost. If you get RankBuilder you can have a fine automated tool for posting to web 2 sites and use Free Traffic System to post to a blog network. You would still need content to post on a regular basis and for that you could get a plr article and write about 4 additional sentence variations to post to Rankbuilder and FTS everyday if possible. RE: Is good ranking possible manually?
Just to add to Jacks post above -
If cost is a concern you can look at Magic Submitter. The yearly subscription is about 1/4 SeNuke price. Slightly buggy but has the designer thing inbuilt that's very slick. UAW and Article Ranks work very well for me. |

Thank you everyone for your good response.
Certainly food for thought. Suggestion for Site Admin - It would be a great idea to have a sticky post somewhere that lists acronyms and their meanings. Best regards. Brian |

RE: Is good ranking possible manually?
Building links manually for certain keywords can ABSOLUTELY get your website ranking high!
When I first started SEO I had no choice but to build my links manually and I got pretty good at it too... I started ranking on the first page for keywords that had search results in the multi-millions. I've now switched from manual link building to semi-automated services but if I do need to rank for a certain keyword I'll pull out the "big guns" (my collection high page rank websites) to build custom backlinks to. Best of luck and remember when it comes to link building: the more you build, the higher you'll rank. |

RE: Is good ranking possible manually?
You can definitely rank for stuff manually - even when the term is competitive.
Sometimes you get better results doing things manually - because as a human you have access to the better quality human approved directories, whereas those who rely on tools alone tend to submit to the junk sites. It all depends on how much work you want to do. Write ten articles a day and submit them to ezine, articlesdashboard and other article directories that require human approval (which have higher authority from the search engines, and which will be ignored by those going by tools alone). If you are doing things manually, you can also benefit from guest blogging - contact good quality sites in your niche by email and ask if you can do a guest post for them. Be creative - there are lots of areas a manual seo can go that are barred for the auto-seos. In fact I'd go so far as to say that even if you have tools, you should do some manual stuff, as the search engine spam teams are always looking to nuke stuff based on tools, but stuff done manually such a guest posts have great sticking power. |

RE: Is good ranking possible manually?
@daisy
Are you kidding. With Magic Submitter I can submit to Ezine, Hubpages, Squidoo, Article Dashboard. Ideamarketers etc and many of the top AD quickly. So all that can be automated. I have dozens of articles in each with multiple accounts. Submit everything in minutes. The mass numbers can be done with AMR. Sure, guest blogging is something that will have to be done manually. You can do things manually - but doing everything manually will be a long tough thankless journey in a competitive niche... and the OP also mentioned that his keyword/niche is saturated. |
