Tube Fool Review (Will YOU Become a Youtube Guru?)

Star Tube Fool Review (Will YOU Become a Youtube Guru?)

In November 2010 Alex Goad and Mark Dulisse released a course called Dominating Video; as part of that product launch they also gave away a software tool called Tube Fool.

This small but powerful tool is used to draw traffic and visitors to your youtube videos. There are numerous testimonials from people who joined their Dominating Video program and had great success using Tube Fool.

To this end Mark has taken Tube Fool, refined it and added a whole raft of extra functions and options that many of the customers of Dominating Video suggested and requested and turned it into a must have application for any serious Video Marketer.

Mark kindly allowed me too have a copy of Tube Fool to review so that I could assess whether it is something I would recommend to my customers and subscribers. So for the last few days I have set up a test to see how well it works.

Before I get to the results I had, let me run you through exactly what you will be getting if you decide to invest in Tube Fool.

Included in Tube Fool is the software, which has been greatly enhanced since it was given away during the Dominating Video product launch, and also a video series detailing all the functions and best practices for using Tube Fool.

Tube Fool Main User Interface
[Image: mainui.png]

The software allows you to easily search users and video on YouTube so that you may then use the Tube Fool software to promote your own videos.

There are four ways in which you can search for users on YouTube that could be interested in your Video promotions
  1. By other users friends - this method involves finding a video that matches your promotion and then the software will harvest all the other users that are friends of that user.
  2. By other users subscribers - this involves targeting a particular users channel and the software will retrieve a list of users that are subscribed to their channel so of course you would target users with a video that matches your target audience.
  3. By user channel commentators - this is a particularly powerful user collection method because the software will collect all the user names of people who have commented on the video that you have chosen to target. The reason that this is powerful is because these people have already shown that they are active by making a comment on YouTube so they may be more receptive to viewing your video and perhaps taking a look at your associated offer.
  4. By keyword - this involves using targeted keywords and the software will then go out and find users channels that have a reference to your keyword.

The collection of YouTube users is the first stage of operations in the Tube Fool software process. From my testing I can tell you that it is very fast at collecting this information. I managed to collect over 900 users that could be interested in my video and associated promotion in a little over 2 minutes.

The second stage is to now execute YouTube operations to draw attention to your video's.

This is achieved in three ways:
  1. By processing friend requests to the list of targeted users you have collected in stage one.
  2. By subscribing to the user channels from the list of users you have collected in stage one.
  3. By sharing your video with the users in the list you have collected in stage one of using the Tube Fool software.

All of this is designed to draw attention to your videos and your video channel where you will hopefully have set up the channel profile and video descriptions to attain the best possible chance of converting some of these people into customers.

Tube Fool is preset to operate within the acceptable parameters that YouTube allows as far as timing between operations or requests go so you don't have to worry about your account getting into any trouble. There are also options to filter the list of users you have collected with a variety of parameters.

Once you have your list of targeted users it is then merely a case of selecting the users you would like to target with one of the three available options and then let Tube Fool work in the background whilst you carry on with other work.

Along with the software there are also training videos covering the following areas to help you make the most of the Tube Fool software.
  1. YouTube Channel Video Tutorials
  2. YouTube Traffic Video Tutorials Using Tube Fool
  3. YouTube List Building Video Tutorials
  4. YouTube Monetization & Conversion Methods Video Tutorials

Since this software was originally given away with the release of Dominating Video last year you might be wondering why Mark Dulisse is now selling it and what extra value there is versus the free version. Well here is what he emailed me when I asked for more details:

"There are huge upgrades to the software for launch, which have not been released yet" said Mark.

He did actually give me a list of all the upgrades that will be included in the final software when it is released to the public. The list is quite extensive but I won't write it all out here I'll just give you the main benefit that I can see in the upgrades.

The main benefit of the upgrades in my opinion is the ability to process multiple tasks on multiple YouTube accounts. The reason this is such a great benefit is because currently just working on one account and adhering to the strict YouTube timings for request operations means that if you have any more than 50 users then the processing time is hours and currently the software will only do one task at a time and work on one YouTube account at a time.

So I am sure you can see the benefit of being able to work on several tasks and YouTube accounts at a time with the new and enhanced Tube Fool software.

At the beginning I mentioned I had set up a test for the software and that I would share my results so that is what I shall do now. I set up a new account at YouTube and uploaded some stock videos for a very popular clickbank diet product, I'm sure you can all guess which one it was, and then I followed the process of using Tube Fool.

I accumulated a list of around 900 users that I thought would be interested in the videos I had uploaded and then began the process of adding friends, subscribing and sharing my videos. The collecting of users took very little time around 2-5 minutes however the second stage process took rather longer around 24 hrs in all I had Tube Fool running making the requests I had set it up to do.

So did I make my millions in this 24 hrs?

Well I'm sure you can guess that I didn't, in fact I have not as yet made any money from my promotion. However I will also admit that I have never really used Video Marketing before. However the reasons why my campaign has not made any money yet are, firstly that the campaign has only been running for 48 hrs at the time of writing and secondly that I did not spend anytime optimising or researching the campaign as well as using a stock Video provided by the product owner (which is never a good idea).

However in the time that the software was running I accumulated 10 friends and subscribed to 132 users that also had an interest in my video subject. The software also shared my video with 422 users. All of this was done without any further action from myself once I had set the software running.

Even with the software running in the background it had no real impact on my system resources and I was able to perform all my usual tasks without any problems which is a very important factor for this type of software.

The small problem I have is that you can not currently minimize the application windows which i am sure will be addressed in the final version.

Conclusions

I have already confessed to not being a very big Video Marketer and so you will have to keep that in mind when you read my conclusions. I am going to initially give you my view on Tube Fool from a pure software point of view. Tube Fool is a very simple well thought out piece of software and it should be considered as a great time saving application. It does exactly what it says on the cover and it does it in an efficient and structured manner using minimal resources in the background. Some of the terminology will take a little getting used to but once you are used to that then the user interface is well laid out and logical.

Now from a marketing and business perspective I can see how this would indeed be a very useful application when dealing with YouTube marketing strategies. Whilst I don't have a great experience of using YouTube for direct marketing purposes I do occasionally use it for promotional activities and I can see how Tube Fool would provide a significant advantage over manually trying to draw attention to my productions.

So I would recommend Tube Fool to anyone who is very active, or considering an active, marketing prescence in YouTube. I would recommend though that if you don't have much experience then as well as the training given with Tube Fool that you seek some further advanced training to compliment it.

I hope my Tube Fool Review has been useful to you and that it will help you decide if Tube Fool is a product that will help your online business strategy.

Tubefool Review Update

Mark sent me a message the other day letting me know that there had been several updates to Tubefool both obvious and some changes behind the scenes affecting how it operates. So I decided to update my review to make sure you have all the latest details about Tubefool.

Below you will see a screenshot of the new user interface and if you compare it to the old one you will immediately see there is a whole new section and more functions as well.

As you can see from the image above there has been some significant changes and advances in the functions of Tubefool.

The first thing worth mentioning is the fact that now you can process several functions from several youtube accounts simultaneously. You can also view the progress of these actions using the Action Queue and Report window.

If you remember from my main review I mentioned "... you can not currently minimize the application windows ..." well now you can, there is now a button to hide the application once you have set up all the processes you want to run.

Before looking at the new section "Maintain Videos" I'll look at the new functions in the "Maintain Users" section namely:-
  • Get Users From Page - this function as it suggests allows you to harvest user names from any particular valid page URL on YouTube.
  • Get Users From Tops - This allows you to harvest users from the top viewed videos in various categories as you can see from the screen shot below.
  • Get Users from Random Pages - This will harvest random users from the tops categories and you can set how many it will try to harvest.

Another useful function that has been added comes when you start to process the user names that you have harvested by hitting the Show Users List button which looks very similar to the old version. Except when it comes to using the share a video function which now has an added step whereby you can add 6 different text messages that will be randomly selected when the video is shared with a user.

There is one additional button on the User List interface and that is the ability to assign on an action by action basis from which of your YouTube accounts it will be processed.

Lets move onto the new section "Maintain Videos".

For the most part the functions of this section are very similar, the only difference being now you are searching for videos and then either commenting on them to get backlinks to your own channel or harvesting the users associated with the video.

The actions you can use when dealing with this list are
  • Post Comment - This allows you to add comments to the selected videos and also allows you to have upto 6 different versions which will be randomly selected by the software.
  • Get Commentators - This will get the user names of the commentators on each video and adds them to your users lists for further actions.
  • Get Related Videos - This function will go out and get further videos that are related to the selected videos that are of a related subject matter. Which you can then further process.

This essentially adds more options and ways in which you can promote your own videos and channel to get more views and ultimately more exposure of your offers.

New Conclusion

In this thread there was a comment from the developer of another YouTube marketing application as well as a reference to it form another forum member.

At that point it may have been the case that the other application had more functions, however true to his word Mark has upgraded Tubefool to include more functions and bring it upto a point that is now a direct competitor to the only other software of it's comparable type on the market.

My previous conclusions still stand in that, if you are a serious Video marketer then TubeFool will definately help you in your efforts to increase exposure of your channel and videos.

As always if there are any further updates then I will update this review again.

RE: Tube Fool Review (Will YOU Become a Youtube Guru?)
Just wanted to let everyone know:

There may be better alternatives to tubefool...

I'm talking about a software called Tube Toolbox.

I can't say for sure, since I haven't fully compared the two, but from what I've seen, Tube Toolbox has all the same features as Tubefool (maybe even more?). Also, Tube Toolbox is a lot more affordable, and it's been around for a lot longer...

(No, I'm in no other way connected to the people behind Tube Toolbox other than being a member of their affiliate program.)

Just my 2 european cents,
Mitro

RE: Tube Fool Review (Will YOU Become a Youtube Guru?)
Hey everyone - Phil here, creator of Tube Toolbox. We are always glad to have competition to keep us on our toes although maintaining YouTube software is 24/7 job anyway so it's not like we need the competition to keep us motivated.

Rather than talk about how great Tube Toolbox is, all I'll say is that I hope everyone gives both products a try and 'let the best YouTube software win'.

TubeFool does sound promising but is relatively new and we've been around for more than 3 years. You can see a history of every update we've ever done which is quite a list now: http://www.tubetoolbox.com/Download_Prev...eases.aspx

If anyone has any questions about Tube Toolbox - feel free to email support@TubeToolbox.com and we'll answer them for you.

Thanks!
Phil

RE: Tube Fool Review (Will YOU Become a Youtube Guru?)
I have read in many many places that they say youtube is becoming overly hard to use as a marketing tool?? - I have the capability and the technology to make the short vids typical of using youtube but am not sure now if its still worth the energy for the return - Any thoughts and comments

RE: Tube Fool Review (Will YOU Become a Youtube Guru?)
Nicholas,

not really, you just need to get your videos out there, in the last few weeks alone I have made quite a number of affiliate sales based on creating videos, and some products are monthly subscriptions, so I get paid on a regular basis, which is cool.

So, whoever said it was hard..obviously has no idea on how to do it. Maybe you need to listen to some other people who are actually doing it...on a regular basis Wink

RE: Tube Fool Review (Will YOU Become a Youtube Guru?)
Hi Carl
Thanks for the reply
Its like everything you have to ask around - listen to the good and the bad - your response is very positive though - I do like the idea of using youtube for the marketing as in my new job I am lucky enough to have to mess about with videos and captivate nearly all day - so I get to practice and then i can use that when i get home to my new passion Smile

I always thought youtube would be a powerful resource - now the next question is;

How good are these submitter programs that are being marketed on the net for vid submission and ranking?

Best regards
Nicholas

RE: Tube Fool Review (Will YOU Become a Youtube Guru?)
I got a client to use it for his channel, and so far we have added in 6,183 views, 172 subscribers, and 2,645 friends in about 4 weeks. For my channel I have added similar results. In regards to ranking since my channel is now a PR6 I get HUGE pull every time I create and send out a video.

So for the next PR update my client should be at PR4 or more, which will give him more pull on the search results.

RE: Tube Fool Review (Will YOU Become a Youtube Guru?)
Wow! This is the first time I've fully read through this part of the forum. You Tube...one more thing to add to my to do list.

I think it's great that there are so many directions you can go with internet marketing. It's great to know (if not a bit distracting) Blush

So I will try to stay focused and add this approach at a later date.

Thanks Vita and everybody else for the reviews.

I would never have learned about many of these services.

RE: Tube Fool Review (Will YOU Become a Youtube Guru?)
You're welcome Michael.

I have just updated my review:

Tubefool Review Update

Mark sent me a message the other day letting me know that there had been several updates to Tubefool both obvious and some changes behind the scenes affecting how it operates. So I decided to update my review to make sure you have all the latest details about Tubefool.

Below you will see a screenshot of the new user interface and if you compare it to the old one you will immediately see there is a whole new section and more functions as well.
