RE: Protecting Adsense Account
I heard about this service http://statcounter.com/ but have yet to try it. As a matter of fact, thanks for reminding me, I'm going to sign up before someone starts click bombing me. Apparently, you can use this to see how many times someone clicks your ads, and if it's the same Ip clicking too many times you can alert google before they find it.
And it's free (to a point) If anybody has used this, or has something better, I would be very interested. Time is Money...Author Unknown |

RE: Protecting Adsense Account
why would people clicking on your ad repeatedly just to get you banned from adsense? that takes lots of ill will, or they are simply your competitors?

You can hardly read through a list of forum threads without hearing about someone beign banned from adsense. Some of them I'm sure did deliberately try to scam Google, but others swear on their lives that they didn't. Though some are lying, I doubt that all of them are. And Google never gives the exact reason that most have been banned. It's very vague. Just think of the temptation involved, in thoery, it's very easy to commit click fraud, especially for high value terms. And Google doesn't have to prove anything, they can terminate your account for any reason whatsoever. How could they prove it even if they tried? And yes, some people are very malicious. They could be a competitor or somebody you ticked off in a forum. There's really no way to know because Google doesn't provide this information. All it takes is "suspicious" activity on your account, and it's better if you see it before Google does so that you can report it. Time is Money...Author Unknown |

RE: Protecting Adsense Account
you cant they say simply remove adsense ads from those pages where click fraud occurs but if your account deleted due to click fraud you can inform them they will reinstate your account.
