Review of "The Article Marketing Handbook" - and how to get it for Free
The Article Marketing Handbook - A Review by Alan Brown
"The Article Marketing Handbook" book Allen Graves is without a doubt the place to start to learn not only about how to do Article Marketing correctly, but also how it works and what it can do for you. Good as "The Article Marketing Handbook" is, it's not perfect for all of us, as you'll see below. Most People Get It Wrong Most people do Article Marketing completely wrong, says Allen Graves. (I was one of them, until I got "The Article Marketing Handbook" that is.) That's why a significant portion of the book is dedicated to explaining the myths of Article Marketing and what many people's misconceptions are. In fact the book doesn't even start to talk about writing an article until half way through! And that section finishes well before the end of the book. Why? Because most people once they have posted their articles stop right there. But they are throwing away the power of the article right there at that point. That's the time to start promoting your article to build "Google power" and that means stronger 'link juice' from the article back to your website. Without following through with article promotion as explained in the last part of the book you are basically wasting your time with Article Marketing! Is that all there is to "The Article Marketing Handbook"? Far from it, but unfortunately, I can't give away the secrets in "The Article Marketing Handbook" because it is a condition of purchase. In fact inside the book on page 7, there is a scheme whereby anyone reports the sharing of the contents will get a REWARD . So I can only hint at some of the contents:-
The "The Article Marketing Handbook" Is Not Perfect! Why do I say that having just explained how essential I think it is? Because it is aimed at only one kind of Article Marketing. And (basically) there are (at least were until SENuke came along) two separate kinds of Article Marketing, depending upon what your game-plan is. The Two Different Article Marketing Models (+SENuke) There were (before SENuke) two different goals of Article Marketing:- either A) To build backlinks quickly to your website, or B) To get pre-sold visitors to your website from the Articles. The two goals demand two different approaches, so how does this affect how you write your articles and how you distribute them? A) To build backlinks quickly to your website In the first case, you are trying to get ranked highly in the search engines for your keywords. In other words you are using articles primarily to build backlinks to your website. In this situation, your articles can be keyword-rich. The article (in theory) does not actually have to impart much information or be terribly readable. (I'm not suggesting that you write gibberish - but you're not really expecting people to read your article and click through to your site.) You submit the articles to all the article directories you can find using article submitter software. You submit your articles to dozens of websites - over a period of a few weeks. (Say 10 per week to begin with, that number daily once your website is indexed by Google). Please note that there are issues here:- 1. Duplicate Content If you are submitting the same article to hundreds of directories, Google will disregard many of them, or at least water down their importance. 2. The Same Backlinks and Anchor Text Similarly if each article has the same anchor text and points to the same website (say your home page) then Google will discount many of those links. In "The Article Marketing Handbook" Allen Graves calls this approach S.A.D. marketing. (S.A.D. = Spamming Article Marketing Directories) and says that "This Doesn't Work Anymore". Also, you will be missing another point here. Those articles all linking back to your website will be, let's say, 'floating' in the Internet ether. To build power so that Google attaches more importance to them, the articles need to be supported by other links to them. "The Article Marketing Handbook" shows you some ways to do that. B) To get pre-sold visitors to your website from the Articles. In the second situation, you actually do want people to read your article and then click through to your website 'pre sold'. In this case your article MUST be good quality and well written with the emphasis more on quality than on keyword density. And you submit your articles by hand to the 18 of the very best article directories and websites. Here are just some of them:- ezinearticles.com hubpages.com goarticles.com articledashboard.com (There is another website that is a 'must' to submit your articles to and it's at http://www.alansays.com/wa . I'm not going into details here because I intend to write a separate review of that website later. But you can pick up a free copy of "The Article Marketing Handbook" there!) ![]() You want people to read your article and then click through to your website 'pre sold'. This is definitely where you need to follow "The Article Marketing Handbook". For example, do you know the Exact way to write a Resource Box that will have readers rapidly clicking through to your website in their hundreds? I guarantee that you are doing it wrong and throwing visitors away! Look, if the intention is to get visitors to your website, then this is THE most important part of your article (after the headline). And do you know how to write an effective Article Summary? One that will get indexed for your keywords by Google way before your article will? "The Article Marketing Handbook" devotes three full pages to this subject. If you bought "The Article Marketing Handbook" (http://www.alansays.com/amh ) for these tips alone it would be worth it. Of course following the "The Article Marketing Handbook" WILL also build backlinks, but will also generate direct traffic from people reading the Article. It follows, therefore that the article has to be good - very good. A Manual System The "The Article Marketing Handbook" 'system' is a manual system involving research, article writing, article submission and article promotion. It's not difficult and not for experienced marketers, beginners can follow the system. But do be prepared to A) do some work and B) have your current beliefs about article marketing severely challenged! If you follow the "The Article Marketing Handbook" and Vita Vee's manual methods of article promotion as shown in his videos, you will have 'the perfect' SEO marketing system, and you won't need SENuke. (Get The Article Marketing Handbook from http://www.alansays.com/amh ) The Automatic (SENuke) Way SeNuke allows you to automate much of the Article Marketing process. But SENuke will not show you how to write articles most effectively. You need "The Article Marketing Handbook" from http://www.alansays.com/amh for that. (Or get it free at http://www.alansays.com/wa ) SENuke allows you to combine the best of method A) and B) above and then some. If you use SeNuke AND you incorporate the strategies in the "Article Marketing Handbook" at the same time you will have "SeNuke squared". That's what I do with incredibly powerful results. Check out "The Article Marketing Handbook" at http://www.alansays.com/amh then get it free from http://www.alansays.com/wa MindAndMoneyMatters.com for those who know that Mind And Money Matters |

RE: Review of "The Article Marketing Handbook" - and how to get it for Free
That is a very detailed post! Thanks Alan!
So by following the AM Hand Book with the use of senuke, you get the benefits of backlinks building (to improve your rankings) and you presell your visitors at the same time? Did you notice a difference in your profits compared to when you were "only" using the 18 article directories listed in the AM Hand Book? Vita Vee PS: Your article directory is awesome by the way

This is something I've always thought, once you get those articles up, throw a couple of backlinks at them to strengthen them up even more! Not something I would take a lot of time on, but a few easy links would suffice. It sounds like using SENuke would make this ideal, easy to throw links at it without taking up too much time! |

RE: Review of "The Article Marketing Handbook" - and how to get it for Free
Exactly.
That's what Senuke is for and how to use it. Every time you do a nuke, you not only link back to your website, you link to your previous posts/articles. You can set Senuke, so that when submitting to blogs, for each post it will automatically insert a link to the previous post, plus it can insert a link to another previous post selected at random from a list of post urls. Dear clonemybusiness,
Now that's what I call a review. Powerful, informative and engaging. Thank you very much for it. I had been thinking about this area to support my planned website and this review has delivered to me a great overview of the area. Kind regards, Delphine |

Maybe I missed something but the link for "The Article Marketing Handbook" is not free, but is a sales page for a Clickbank book. Has this changed recently?
