Interesting, hopefully this will work in our favour and drop the sites that are using dodgy techniques Smile.

RE: Google Announces Massive Algorithm Change
I wonder how the new algo will judge the sites we have created with ezine articles and spun content?

RE: Google Announces Massive Algorithm Change
Seems that the new Google Algorithm Change this time is the talk of the web. I'm seeing it on news sites everywhere:

Be extremely subtle, even to the point of formlessness. Be extremely mysterious, even to the point of soundlessness. Thereby you can be the director of the opponent's fate...

RE: Google Announces Massive Algorithm Change
My sites have improved, but sadly a leading food portal for whom I work as an SEO consultant has lost its traffic by 40%, I am talking about a website that receives 6million visitors a month Sad

RE: Google Announces Massive Algorithm Change
This update mainly aimed content farms which took a large portion of organic traffic in some competitive keywords. Many authority sites including ezinearticles affected badly this time.

How do you think this new algo change will affect the efficacity of the Ultra Spinnable Articles?

RE: Google Announces Massive Algorithm Change
What really irritates me is that I've read certain sites like eHow, which is total GARBAGE aren't being hurt, and may actually benefit from this. How can you go after "content farms" without going after a site eHow?

Many of their articles are under 150 words, and don't even use proper grammar.

Crazy stuff...Huh

RE: Google Announces Massive Algorithm Change
Hmm... I've found that a lot of their content isn't all that good, but there are some useful tutorials on there.

Yes, they do have some good tutorials.

And I used to think that all they did was tutorials. But now they have all kinds of articles.

Maybe they're just especially bad in my niche. I examine all competing pages under a microscope. Oh well...fortunatly they're not that hard to outrank. Tongue

RE: Google Announces Massive Algorithm Change
Google keeps including hundreds of updates each year: some big, some small. But for sites that have been following good SEO practices, the long term impact should be minimal.
