How to upload a video ON MY site
Good day, hope all is well.
I'm looking for instructions on how to upload my own videos on my own sites...not on YouTube. I tried to create a folder called video and put the videos in there and use FileZilla to upload the file...but it does not work...I'm over my head here, please help. ![]() Thanks Francois |

RE: How to upload a video ON MY site
Did you get the manage to get the videos in your video folder? Is this the problem, or do you not know what to do once they are inside the folder?

RE: How to upload a video ON MY site
Thanks for the quick reply;
Once I put the video (done in Camtasia) in the video folder, I cannot seem to get it to play. url would be: http://www.domain.com/video/nameofvideo when i do that it does not appear/play?!? Do I need to put something else in the video folder? like a player or something? Thanks again |

RE: How to upload a video ON MY site
When you produce your video in camtasia there should be some other files other than the video file. These are the player files. Do you have that?
You need to upload those files to the same folder as the video file. And then to play the video open the file that ends in .html in your browser, it might be index.html, I'm not sure. RE: How to upload a video ON MY site
All I have in the files of Camtasia is the "MPEG-4" video?
Would there be a video tutorial on how to do this? I looked all over the net: Google, Youtube...nothing...maybe I do not know where to look... Thanks again |

RE: How to upload a video ON MY site
Ok, I believe quicktime format can be played directly on the web browser, if you have quicktime installed on your computer. Did you remember to place the file extension (ex. domain.com/video/nameofvideo.mp4)
