Review site SEO keyword optimization
Hi to all!

First I'd like to express my gladness to be a member of this forum together with the SEO master Vita Vee Smile

Next to the point...

I'd like to ask you of the basic SEO for a review site! I'm a newbie to SEO so be patient Wink

So my site is about a digital camera reviews and it's a brand-new site.

My questions:

1. Let's say I'm writing about the "Canon EOS T1i review". And I want that page to rank for the keyword "Canon EOS T1i review". Now, it is easy to mention the keyword "review" in the headline but how to keep its density in the article body? Because the article is about the "Canon EOS T1i" and not about "review"!
Should I just randomly put the keyword in the article body? That won't definitely look nice! How do you usually face this problem, guys?

2. What is considered an optimal keyword density and how essential is it in the article body to rank well?

3. How to optimize a homepage to rank for the keyword "digital camera review"? Do you suggest to use a static homepage or the last posts instead?

RE: Review site SEO keyword optimization
Basic SEO for a review site

1) choose a topic that is not too competitive
2) write or outsource reviews in good English that do a good job at helping the shopper
3) use a good clean theme on a wordpress site and use an SEO plugin like all in one seo
4) keyword density is a relic of seo history - just write a good article and ignore density
5) after publication create some social bookmarks
6) and blog comments
7) and articles
8) check your traffic and ranking and clicks on your links every few days and keep linkbuilding until you rank

Good luck

PS digital photography is one of the toughest areas in which to publish. Unless you have a mentor to teach you you will almost certainly get nowhere in this niche!

RE: Review site SEO keyword optimization
Yes is most difficult thing while writing. Keywords density should be in review to get good ranking. I think there are ways to minimize the keyword density, this can only be done by professional writer. So you need to improve the writing skills to minimize the thing.

While writting any thing i try to keep the keyword density as low as possible. Similarly home page contents should be optimize to get good ranking. It means low keyword density in home page contents.....
