How To Embed a Video In Wordpress post

Hi

How to embed a video in WMV format in my wordpress post?

When I add this video in my post via the HTML editor, it only show as a link and not a video ready to play.

You need a video player plugin like the one below:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/flv-embed/

With this particular plugin once it's activated this is the code you use in your post to display the video.

[flv:video-url width height]

example [flv:http:/sitename/folder/video.mp4 640 480]

Been struggling to move my Wordpress blog with WpTwin and was not successful. Only can try what you have taught me when the new blog is up.

Tried it this morning and it works!

In case others would like to embed a video like me, this is the process.

1/ download a wmv to flv converter. i used http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd...(Freeware)

2/ upload the flv file to your server. note the location of this file

3/ install flv-embed plugin

4/ in your post, switch to html and insert your video in this format [flv:http:/sitename/folder/video.flv 640 480]
