How To Keep And Improve My Listing In Google

Hi

Have been taking alot of actions lately by submitting articles to FTS and ALN.

One of my page rank to the high of number 12 spot in Google search but it is now on 137 over 3 days! Have been monitoring it to check on my SEO knowledge.

May I ask why the sudden drop and is Big G penalizing me for using such method to acquire backlinks and gain ranking?

What should I have done to maintain my number 12 spot and improve it?

Can somebody shed some light?

Maybe it is ALN. I've experienced the same drop from position 20 down to 190 for several keywords when I build links through ALN.

I'm also having the same problem too. Can anyone out there can share their experience how you over come this problem? I got one website ranking page 2 of google after build link by using senuke x for 2 week now drop to 439.

Same problem here... from top ranking for couple product i'm now somewhere at 70-100 results ... some cant even rank .. and I'm ranking for tags and categories but not for the real URL ... i was wondering if that's G panda or something like that

Often times when you get a lot of links your ranking will shoot up fast but then it drops back down when the dust settles. You need to continue building links consistently and from many different sources. Also make sure you have plenty of high quality original content on your site.

Google may give your new page an initial high, but yet undeserved ranking, to see how well it does in obtaining clicks. Then you may drop back and have to earn your ranking. The issue isn't just backlinks, but what is your click thru rate and then bounce rate, etc.

I've observed this behavior as well. High initial Google ranking and then a drop based on click-through and bounce rates. As my bounce rate declined for an existing article, it's ranking increased again.

Admittedly not a scientific observation, but it seems to happen...

you can try to do more social bookmarking and forum posting(good quality post in related site). soon in 10 days of time you will get it in 1st page of google from 137 SERP rank. try to do 50 links in social bookmarking and 50 quality foum posting links daily.

its just because of google dance, try to achieve more social bookmarking and forum links, see to that those link were quality links and not a spam one. also post articles related to that keyword and use link in it and post about 20 to 25 article directories daily along with 20 social bookmarking links and 25 forum links. you will get in 10 days of time or even soon. try it out.

Oh yeah. Just keep building backlinks at the same rate you were building earlier . Just try to add more related content and make sure your post i.e. onsite seo, is optimized for your targeted keywords. Primary things to consider after panda update are
- h1,h2,h3 tags *(make sure to have keywords here)
- use keywords 2 to 3 times in the post
- add unique content and try to post atleast a 400 words + article
- use keyword in first and last para of the article
- add images with keyword as the alt tag
- add video (not necessary though, but helps)
