Problem in URL Ranking
Hey guys,
I've been in launch product business for quite some time now ... this thing that happened lately has never happened to me before. So I want to know what's your opinion and if I can deal with it and how? Here's the thing. I was promoting a product that launches soon and I got really really good ranking, everything was OK. I was ranking for other 3 products at the same time and suddenly I disappear. First I thought it was google dance. But I just didnt come back even though I keep on building links with RB and AMR. After a week my ranking was still bad, so I stopped using AMR, cuz I thought the problem was there. I saw that my initial ranking was really weird i mean usually my URL ranking is like this: http://www.domainname.com/product-name/p...ame-review and now my ranking URL that google Use to rank me is : http://www.domainname.com/category/product-name or http://www.domainname.com/tag/product-name I am using Rank Builder only. I want to know If you have idea why is this happening and also is this because of Google Panda ? Or what? I also add-ed some additional content to the page which is relevant to the product I am promoting, I added a link to established website too and continue building links so I could rank for my normal URL instead for tags and categories ... but 2 weeks later .. Nothing. What is going on and what shell I Do ? |

RE: Problem in URL Ranking
Hi Mateo,
I can relate to what has happened to you as I had the exact same thing happen to me a few times. I found that this can happen for various reasons such as using an automated tool too much (AMR) or changing the speed I am building links at. Just keep building links and adding good content and eventually you will rank normally again. As long as there is no fundamental problem with your site it will eventually come back. I forget how long it took mine, but I think on one occasion it was at least a few weeks. Cheers Rob Recommended Courses/Tools:

RE: Problem in URL Ranking
Hey Rob,
Yeah I stopped using AMR ... to test the water and see if it's in there the problem. I also started adding content every day and keep on building links. I am using RB mainly now .... so I just hope that my ranking will get normal ... it's really sucks that this happened right now when i got major problems and needed decent ranking to get some $$$ But to get some more details, this thing happened to me like 2 weeks ago and I still cant manage to get thru it. That's why I was wondering if this isnt G Panda thing. Sorry for the question but can you tell me what tools or sites you're using for your SEO ? |

RE: Problem in URL Ranking
Hi,
Are you using Vita's F0TP methods? If you are, then I would say that it is not the Google Panda effect as nobody else has been effected. I think Vita made a post about this somewhere...... I use SEONuking for my Web 2.0 backlinks. You should also use something like My Article Network which will give you some link diversity. I was using SEOLinkvine, but the distribution rate of articles hit rock bottom and I didn't think that it was worth the money. Cheers Rob Recommended Courses/Tools:

RE: Problem in URL Ranking
Yeah I'm following his methods ~F0TP~
Thanks for sharing you're tools. Really appreciate it. I know about SEO Link Vine ... I'm familiar with it personally and it's not a good choice for product launch domination. You know what I tried ... I've tried using AMR and I used only WP inserting contextual backlinks in the articles ... and I believe it was working ... but lately cant tell what's working anymore ... I have heard good things about MAN and its times better than SEOLinkVine. Mateo |

RE: Problem in URL Ranking
I forgot to say, as well as continually building links, start trying to get income from a totally different source . When your rankings come back you will then have more than one income.

RE: Problem in URL Ranking
Yeah, looking what to do while this problem is solved ~hard thing~
I was wondering should I chose new launches and start building links to them or should I keep on building links for the ones I am already doing ? The ranking for the one I am already pointing to isnt changing at all for more then 2 weeks ~knowing I was at the first spots makes me mad~. Im also wondering if I should delete the posts that are for launches that are about to launch soon and repost them with different content ~except to keep the URL because I have build a lot of links already~ ...?! RE: Problem in URL Ranking
This is absolutely ridiculous! I came back in google ... ranking for normal URL's about .. Idk, probably 8-9 days ago .. and today I wake up, get up and what to see ... all my rankings are gone and I'm in the same situation like I used to be just 2 weeks ago.
You guys have the same problems ? I mean, that's too much, I couldnt even promote a single launch before i disappear again :/ |

RE: Problem in URL Ranking
Sorry to hear about that. I was recently over at the google forum and I was reading about some sites that got slapped by Panda because they consist largely of API generated product descriptions (the same descriptions others are using for the same product)
And they were tanking the whole site, not just the page/post. But when you say you're adding content, I'm assuming you mean original content. So that might not be it. I haven't seen any fluctuations on any of my sites except for new posts, and that's probably just due to link building. Hope things work out. Btw, apart from all of this, what's your opinion of Article Marketing Robot? I'm about to buy it. Thanks Time is Money...Author Unknown |
