My Google ranking just got slapped - Questions

Hi VV and everyone.
I have a site that I started in 2007. The site was ranked for many keywords and was getting about 300 uniques per day like clockwork. The Panda update in February made it even better.

But a week ago that changed. The rankings dropped suddenly, and traffic dropped to 30 per day, as a result. I also stopped making money from the site..

Also important to mention - I did all my link building and content in 2007 and haven't touched the site since (it worked just fine for me up untill this week...)

Questions:
1. Will the site get back to it's former rankings on it's own? or does it need help? Do I need to wait or act now?
2. If I need to work on it, what can I do to get it back to it's former rankings? link building? more content? I'm asking as I don't want to do something that will "upset" Google.

Any advice will be appreciated

Hmm. Great questions man. I think I would wait a bit longer and see what happens. I've seen sites drop like that but who knows how Google operates. :/

If after a couple of weeks if you still see no movement I would start a steady backlinking campaign. It would also be a good idea to refresh your content in the mean-time, add some post, maybe edit some existing posts...
