How to drive hits to a website?
Hi everyone,
I like to test out a website. I am not looking at traffic at this point but rather like to simulate hits to a website e.g. http://www.abc.com has 1000 hits per day, etc. So I can view from Google Analytics or Hostgator on today's traffic. a) is there any free software which i can do this? i believe this software has to run on proxies, i think? if not what commercial software which i can use? b) if i do test on my existing site, will this affect its ranking in google? just wonder. Any help? Thanks in advance. Looking forward for my 1st sales -> 10 sales -> 100 sales -> auto-pilot  can't wait!

I don't know of a free one, but take a look at sesniper. You may want to check with their support to see if it will work though. I know a few months ago analytics would not register hits from the software because it did not use java. They said that updated updated versions will do this, but just make sure, if you will purchase.
question b) They claim if you use their software it will increase your rankings because it simulates user traffic. I'm really not completely convinced on this idea, as I haven't tested it enough. Have you become an employee to your own business by chasing first page google rankings on a daily basis? Start working on your business, NOT in it. Free your time with a completely hands-free SEO solution. Read the incredible member testimonials, and ask any questions you like. |

but it seems that sesniper need to pass in keywords in order to work.
Can i just run unique clicks simulations for a domain http://www.abc.com (abc can be meaningless and no one search about it, no keyword on the domain too)? Looking forward for my 1st sales -> 10 sales -> 100 sales -> auto-pilot can't wait!

Yeah, sesniper does a google search and clicks your website from the search results. I don't know any other tools that would simply visit your site through a proxy.
Another option would be a service like traffic rank. I think it just sends garbage traffic, but it's really cheap. Have you become an employee to your own business by chasing first page google rankings on a daily basis? Start working on your business, NOT in it.
