For SNIPER Sites: Blog Posts or New Domain? (For #1 Ranking)

When you're targeting a specific keyword on the search engines to rank for, is it better to create a blog post on a domain you already have or to buy a brand new domain with the keyword as the domain?

Which method would get ranked on top of search engines faster?

Without going into too much detail this is the simple answer.

If both website's are new, then the one with the exact domain will get a faster high ranking.

But if the website you'll be making the blog post to is an authority website, in the same niche as the keyword you're targeting, the blog post will get a faster high ranking.

I use KeyDomain Tool to find exact match domains just because they rank very fast.
I hardly settle with anything less than exact.
I believe old sites are always better though.

Thanks for your input guys. I've decided to use both for different products and promotions. I've also noticed both go up in the search engines after a few days when I get all the on-page SEO factors to 100% for the specific keyword.

An awesome plugin I'm using is Bloggerhigh SEO. It's the equivalent to what SEOPressor does except it's free.

You know what? NOTHING is ever what it seems but EVERYTHING is always what it is . . . and plugins don't matter enough to worry about. Nothing SEO or plugin related would ever make any difference if YOU weren't doing whatever you're doing every day without even thinking about it.
