Use USAs for non related anchor text??
HI Im new to this forum.

I was just wondering, can you use the USAs for backlinking even if your anchor text or website does not really have any relevance to the article.

Its just, I own a gift website, and I havent seen and gift USAs.

Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

RE: Use USAs for non related anchor text??
Hi Dean, yeah using the USAs for building backlinks is exactly what many of the members are exclusively using them for. Backlinks are effective even if unrelated to the article.

I recommend the "Business Marketing" articles option for building backlinks since they sound better as apposed to the Multiple Topic ones which can include any topic.

Vita's also releasing a huge update to the USA market place by the end of the month, and there will be a great deal in pricing for the fast action takers.

You can either purchase right now, or sign up for a free account and keep an eye out for when Vita sends the invitation email the the updated service.

They are accepted with out a problem on My Article Network and SEOLinkVine. I'm not sure about Unique Article Wizard, since I don't have an account there, though I suspect it will not be a problem there either because many of the members here have a subscription to UAW.

This is taken from MyArticleNetwork's article submission faq

Quote:Must those links point to one of my sites that I've connected to the network?

Absolutely not. The links in an article can point to any site of your choice. If you want to link to CNN, go ahead.

Quote:Why don't you put restrictions on where a link can point?

We want people to be able to link to any content on the web. If you want to include links in an article to one of your Squidoo lenses, you can do that. To one of your Digg submissions -- you can do that. Flexibility is the name of the game.

So as you can see, the network itself states they do not have a problem with where your links point to.

The problem is with the blog owners. Some will have a problem with it and will complain of spam links. When they complain, the network will suspend that particular article (yes, it takes only 1 complaint). You then have to either delete the article or change it.

If your account accumulates 10 suspended articles, your entire account will be suspended. Then after a manual review and they see that you have gotten rid of them, they will reinstate your account. This could take a few days.

So, if you are doing this, you should check your articles for negative feedbacks and just delete them so you don't accumulate 10 of them. If you are using the USA's you have plenty of content so you don't really need to worry about this.

You should definitely use MAN. It is really good because you can get your content on so many domains. The downside is that most of them don't have page rank.

That's why you should also use Authority Link Network. It has just gone to a paid network. There are three different levels with the lowest cost being only $15 per month. I'm not sure of all the details of what you get or how the levels work exactly.

But the advantage with ALN is that all of the blogs in the network have page rank of at least 1. There are lots of page rank 3's and 4's. They will also be adding more features soon. The network is growing too. They are I think close to 6,000 blogs.
