Two domains for one site good or bad?
Two domains for one site good or bad?
Hi everybody. I have a question about using two domains for one site. Here is the thing: I have Google Places account for my site and trying to promote my site in organic search. That just happen that i have bought another domain and was going to develop two different sites for my business. (So here is question 1 - was it smart idea?) Then i decided to use only one site, but would like to use older domain, placed on Google Places, redirected to another domain which is i am going to do SEO with. So my question - is it normal to point to the site from Google Places, using old domain and work on SEO for the site using newer domain. This is going to look like - there are going to be two different domains found in search, but taking people to the same site. Please, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

RE: Two domains for one site good or bad?
Just do a 301 redirect on the older domain and should be fine. The redirect will help getting the juice from the older domain. Do not use both as will do more harm than good
