RE: Getting Traffic
Hi,
Although we all want "FREE" traffic, it really does not come for free Meaning, one has to spend either time or money to get this so called "FREE" traffic. The ultimate aim should be that the site or page or post must be on the first page of Google for the keywords you are targeting, to get organic search traffic.Few tips I can think of are - 1) Do a proper on-page SEO based on your keywords - eg: title, meta-description, tags, LSI keywords, keyword density 2) Focus on off-page seo - backlink building by blog commenting, forum posts with your signature, article submission to directories like ezine, etc. 3) Get Social media traffic - like Facebook or Twitter. I know this is a very generic answer but hopefully gives some tips to you Thanks. RE: Getting Traffic
I say use Twitter. Build your followership over 100 followers (make sure you don't promote products but your blog or article/video content) You want your followers to look forward to your tweets. Give them amazing tips that can improve their lives. You want to let your followers know that people use twitter for other things besides spamming. Once they trust you (Within a few months you could have well over 500 followers). When you get the followership you want, start sending them to your blog site (you could easily get 100 visitors per day with each post). Once you notice that people are visiting your site, you may get a few who visit your site by actually typing your domain name in the address bar. This is actually the best way to get traffic...from people who visit your site on a regular basis. Once you get consistent traffic, you can start making money via ads or getting your visitors to join your list. This method is pretty solid and I'm using it myself.

RE: Getting Traffic
You need content and regular updates that will keep your visitors to keep coming back for more. Once you have enough of them, you can start promoting them to your niche by doing some blog commenting and directories submissions. Get out there to socialize with your audience and network.

RE: Getting Traffic
Free traffic will give you the best ROI. It will take some of your time but is by far the best type of traffic you can get.
Here are the steps I would take to get as much free traffic as I can: 1) collect a list of products that you would like to be an affiliate for (physical or digital) 2) locate some keywords that have high levels of traffic (1000 +) and low competition (take the average PR of top 10 results - should be less than 3) 3) purchase a domain name with your keyword in it 4) write articles with anchor text as keyword and link back to your site 5) monitor your ranking as you get to first page 6) rinse and repeat |
