Autoresponder emails and Spam Folder
Hi,

I find that when someone subscribes to my list, the subscription email and subsequent emails lands up in their Spam folder. I tested this with gmail.
I would appreciate any help or pointers in this regard, where the mail is not classified as Spam, but lands up in the Inbox of the subscriber.

Thanks.

RE: Autoresponder emails and Spam Folder
Hi Girish

The spam filter can mainly be triggered by 3 things:

* Your subject line
* Your email content
* The sender

If you use a good autoresponder service, the sender is probably not the problem.

You should check your title and email content for words triggering the antispam filters - I had the list of words and rules used by the spam arrest service but I can't find it anywhere now... don't remember where I saw it!

RE: Autoresponder emails and Spam Folder
Quick question here, I have email contacts from my old jobs, any way I can upload these to autoresponder service, or the only way for list building is opt-in?

I'm currently using aweber, and it doesn't seem like it's available to just upload and instantly become my list.

Appreciate on any insights!

When you're logged in, mouse over the "subscribers" tab to get a drop down, and click on either the "add" or "import" links.
