RE: List Building...?
Forget about building a list. Focus on building an audience first. A good way to do this is to use the social networks to build up friends and/or followers. You give them free content that will improve their lives. In the meantime work on creating 12 simple products (eBooks, MP3s or videos) and at least 52 emails of amazing tips and ideas in whatever niche you're in. You don't have to do this all in one day but you can do it over a period of time.
Once you have your 52 emails (this can be to your adsense or other type of pay-per-click or pay-per-action site with top-notch content, or just written out emails) make each email post 5-7 days from the previous one. This will give a year's worth of content for your list (1 post per week. Make sure you tell them to stay tuned for the next email in 5-7 days, telling them what they're gonna learn in the next email. This creates anticipation for them to open your emails). At the end of each month present your product. Make sure that the content you're putting out leads to your product. Each month you're gonna do that for each product. The content leads up to your product (Your products should be priced fairly). Make sure that each person who buys your product submits their name and email address into another list. These people will be your buyers list. Each product should have a separate list. 12 products and 52 emails gives you 1 year's worth of content and products for your list. After that you just set and forget. All your efforts can be put into traffic generation via the social networks. Twitter is good because you can get followers fairly quickly. Make sure you have over 100 followers before you start trying to build your list. Don't promote a single product via twitter...after they join your list that will be taken care of. Hope this helps. Feel free to send me a message if this helps. Thanx for listening |

RE: List Building...?
Building a list is relatively simple is you have already attracted the right audience. Offering something of value in exchange for a name and email address is all you have to do. Once you capture that information keep offering as much quality content as you can. You will establish yourself as an expert and build trust. After that, you can market offers to your list and they will buy. Focus on giving first and then take, its pretty simple.
