Best Wordpress Template you use?
I have 5 or 6 WP templates I rotate between. Just wondering what everyone else uses in the SEO / WP front?
Thanks! |

RE: Best Wordpress Template you use?
It really depends on the niche and your own taste. As far as SEO is concerned, I would go with cleaner themes as they are more user friendly and easier to navigate and that is an important part of SEO.

I've always heard that Thesis and Optimizepress were the best, that's what I've been using and they seem to work well.

RE: Best Wordpress Template you use?
Suffusion is my favorite free theme. It has loads of options and appears to be great for seo purposes. But it does seem put a heavy load on servers (CSS files I think)?? I just had to switch to faster hosting.
Can someone recommend a paid theme that has short code; or another means for adding Adsense into the post/page content easily? I try to minimize the use of plugins. And something besides the Adsense or CTR themes...they're really ugly. Thanks Time is Money...Author Unknown |

no offense guys but themes do nothing SEO wise. they only need to be well scripted that's all. It's not because you have the thesis theme that you will rank numero uno like that.

Absolutely, I just feel like I have all my on page factors covered with this theme. ![]() (11-30-2011 06:16 AM)Jack Wrote: I love suffusion too and have started using it on a number of sites! Hello Jack. I'm not even sure why I have the urge to purchase a paid theme. Maybe it's just a perceived value thing. But yeah, Suffusion is an awesome theme. And Sayontan is a classy guy who really seems to know his stuff. I'm definitely going to send him some coffee money for Christmas. With my old host, my pages were loading slow. I checked some of the page load speed tools, and I noticed a lot of CSS files showing up that my competitors didn't have. I was also just looking at some other examples of Suffusion pages, and they also seemed to load a little slow. But I know nothing about coding..CSS...js files...none of this stuff. So I could be wrong. My pages now load fast, but I switched to Lite Speed powered hosting. I was just wondering if Suffusion is a heavy theme...or if my old host was just really crappy. If anybody wants to look at some examples of what you can do with Suffusion, just Google "Suffusion theme by Sayontan Sinha." There's some great theme skinning options and designs... But mine are ugly...
