Table problems

Okay, I've been trying to make a new layout for forever because I'm trying to just make my site look better. I've decided to go with CSS and I'm pretty sure all of that is okay, it's nothing special, just stuff for the text. However, there is one problem. I used Imageready to slice up this huge image I'm using as the bg, and I'm putting it as a background to corressponding tables, but for some reason, parts keep getting overlapped or something so that the picture isn't smooth and there's this one box that just refuses to stay in its intended place. Any suggestions? After a few replies, I guess I'll put up the code I've been using.
