.ME or other Country Domains vs. .COM, .NET, etc...
Hello All,

I wanted the opinion of other people in regards to purchasing a domain. If we utilize the "0 to Profits" method or, in other words, are building an authority review blog/site...do we have to have a .com domain in order to better our odds of getting on the first page and/or in the number one spot on Google's natural rankings?

As an example:

Say I purchased blahblahreview.me, blahblahreview.it or something similar that does NOT end in .com, .net or .org. Is it going to be harder for me compete against someone who is trying to go after the same product review that owns say blahblahreview.com?

I am trying to figure out if there "IS" or "IS NOT" any relevance in your domain extension and your possibility of establishing HIGH rankings in Google.

Thank you all in advance for your insight Cool

Simply go to the top 30 results for your 30 best keywords and note the TLDs for those results.

If you see mostly .com's, then you'll have your answer!

I've always had better luck with .com and .org but that means nothing when it comes to your niche and search engines you're targetting.

Hope this helps

RE: .ME or other Country Domains vs. .COM, .NET, etc...
There has been alot of discussion on this topic, i must admit that i have not seen any .me/us/biz etc. rank high in google for any keyword i have targeted. It's mostly the TLD's
even .com's with hyphen.
So for me i stick with .com/net/org ,it's also good to have your keyword in your Domain Name if you can.
