Yes, privacy policy and even contact us pages are important for Google. In fact I think TECHNICALLY you need a privacy policy page to satisfy Google with Adsense.

Those pages are so easy to create that it does not make much sense not to have one.

I did not know anything about this and adsense so
will give this a try on my sites.
