First SENuke experience and question

First SENuke experience and question
I decided to test product launch type of promotion with SENuke.
Here is my experiences and a question.

Before promoting the launch I used September issue of Angela backlinks
and created profile on each site with a link back to my blog. I found my
site indexed by Google in a couple of days.

I created review and bonus pages for the product with some basic
information about the product, not a real stuff yet.

I created two networks with two different set of accounts using SENuke.
I wrote one original article and spun it manually with 35%-40% uniqueness.

First copy of the article has been poster to the internal blog (blog inside blog
like in Vita's videos) with a "Product Name" link to a review page. Other spun
articles with "Product Name" link to a review page have been submitted with
SENuke to one of the networks.

Next day I socially bookmarked my articles (2 bookmarks per account) and
submitted RSS feeds (two fees per account).

The next morning I found that I am number two after the official web site on
"Product Name" and number one on "Product Name Review" and "Product
Name Bonus". Wow! Smile

I waited a day and the next day I re-submitted the same spun article (SENuke
documentation says you can do up to 5 submissions with one article) to the
second network. The next day I repeated the process of bookmarking and RSS
submission.

The next morning I found that I am number one before(!) the official web site
on "Product Name" and number one on "Product Name Review" and "Product
Name Bonus". Wow and Wow! Big Grin

However in a few short hours after that the site slid to a page number 5
and continue on the way down. Sad

I stopped building backlinks and haven't used SENuke for a few days.

The question is what went wrong? Huh

As I said the page dropped suddenly from number one to the fifths page
for "Product Name". The same happened to "Product Name Review" and
"Product Name Bonus" keywords.

RE: First SENuke experience and question
Well, if it's any consolation...I'm pretty new at this, but here is what happened to me recently.

I was ranking #1 for a term just doing some of the backlinking Vita talks about. After about 2 days...it disappeared. I added comment to blog like vita says and also added a couple more BL's.
Then it reappeared.
It came back within 12 hours.

Now, i'm not sure about the SE Nuke, but I'll tell you shortly.
I'm targeting a fairly competitve keyword using a squeeze page. I just bought SE Nuke through vita's link today and did my first project with it. I made it through everything on video#1, and will do 2nd SE Nuke video tomorrow. Will let you know my results.

If I can dominate this keyword...phrase search...Market Samurai tells me I'll be getting about 100+ clicks per day. So, we'll see. Using my own product for the sales page. We'll see what happens.

RE: First SENuke experience and question
Hey TheRealEgor,

You got excellent rankings very quickly. Now what happened IMHO is related to your content not to the backlinks you built.
You appeared to be the authority for your targeted keywords in the eyes of Google but then you surely didn't act like an authority.

Your page was probably not updated with fresh content?
Or your page content was not related enough to your targeted keyword.

It's easy to know if google finds your page related or not to your keyword, just use the google keyword external tool, enter your URL and look at the keywords google is suggesting to you. If you find your targeted keyword in google's list you're good, if not, work on your article Wink

Recently 2 of my pages also disappeared, I was #3 and #4. I just modified my content, built some more links and a few hours later I was back at #1 and #2.

You have to show google that YOU are the authority for this keyword. Also, don't forget to use multimedia files, at least several images using your keyword in the alt tag.

@brandon What is the keyword you're targeting? Big Grin Just kidding Wink Don't write it on the forum Tongue

RE: First SENuke experience and question
I've had that happen too.

There is something called the Google dance. Where Google will rank you high like that because of so much interest to your site, then they will readjust your position and then in a few days they will raise you back again.

But then again: I have seen sites at the top of Google with no content (well one line and a block of adsense) when I looked at their source they had only a title tag with one keyword in it. And this was a KW getting 5,000 searches a month with tons of competition, yet they were wining the SEO game.

I usually try to let google do it's dance before I punt. Then after a week or so I can adjust.

I have changed pages that slipped ranking only to see them disappear and then gone back and used the original settings and had them move right back.

One other thing, Anybody noticed this:

If you change your adsense block you start earning at a lower click rate for a few days?

Perry

I have also seen some weird results, don't know how they do that exactly, but usually their rankings don't last.

Never experienced this myself. I stopped using adsense a long time ago but for some reason I'm using it back for about 2 months now on 1 single site. That's a test I'm currently running... Averaging about $12 per day during this 2 months period now.

RE: First SENuke experience and question
I have seen this happen with many of my aff pages too, they rank well and then they drop out...if you continue to build links and add a fair bit of new content to the site (schedule post in wordpress Smile ) then it jumps back in SEPS and climbs up rankings again.
