RE: Part 1 - How To Create Niche/Authority Websites (Finding our initial topic)
Hey guys,
First, you should be using this search query: Code: "bestsellers in"+"price: $400..20000000"+"200..9999999999 Customer Reviews" site:amazon.comThat will give you the products that also have a high number of customer reviews. A sure sign of a popular product (providing most of the reviews are good) Now it's has been a long time since I saw the video, but I did do the search query above and really like what I see. This is really good because it gives you the product page. So when you click on a result, you'll be brought directly to the page for the product. You will have all the information there that you need to determine whether or not you want to promote the product. So instead of seeing a list of several products, most of which are useless to you, after clicking on the Google results, you will be able to see the product name in Google before you even click on it. Then, like I said you will be able to go right to the product page from Google. As I said, I haven't watched the video in a long time, probably since last year. If I'm missing something, let me know. If you'll watch the VV's 1-st video (and you don't have to watch the entire video, just switch to the minute 2:48) you'll notice that for his search query "bestsellers in"+"price: $400..20000000" site:amazon.com Google shows him 1,500,000 results, but if I type the exact same query nowadays in Google.com it will show only 209 results!!! Here is a screenshot: http://www.freeuploadimages.org/images/m...avjex2.jpg Notice! also that all the results in the original VV's video showed in Google are in the "bestsellers" category as you can see from URLs (as them supposed to be) but nowadays it brings up the results with a random product categories (like timheaney mentioned) that are not in "bestsellers" section but are often individual products in a generic category: (first 5 results) http://www.freeuploadimages.org/images/h...lc34xj.jpg http://www.freeuploadimages.org/images/p...0pondp.jpg http://www.freeuploadimages.org/images/w...u1tap8.jpg http://www.freeuploadimages.org/images/i...3554xu.jpg http://www.freeuploadimages.org/images/s...b8bvvf.jpg All the more for a search query suggested by you "bestsellers in"+"price: $400..20000000"+"200..9999999999 Customer Reviews" site:amazon.com Google shows even less results that are only 10 :http://www.freeuploadimages.org/images/x...tfmd1e.jpg http://www.freeuploadimages.org/images/f...7dwgnw.jpg http://www.freeuploadimages.org/images/t...gbwoyx.jpg http://www.freeuploadimages.org/images/u...mlowzd.jpg http://www.freeuploadimages.org/images/d...zjzqkb.jpg http://www.freeuploadimages.org/images/d...673y3e.jpg So a workaround for the search query is still muchly NEEDED! |

RE: Part 1 - How To Create Niche/Authority Websites (Finding our initial topic)
Hi everyone
It's not because of Google changes. Amazon has changed the wording on its site so the old query doesn't work anymore. Here is the new one: "Amazon Bestsellers Rank:"+"price: $400..20000000"+"50..9999999999 Customer Reviews" site:amazon.com I have also updated the 1st post of this thread with the new query. RE: Part 1 - How To Create Niche/Authority Websites (Finding our initial topic)
Hello,
This is also my first post to the group. It looks like a really outstanding group of people who are more than willing to share their knowledge and help whenever possible. I look forward to learning from the group and returning the favor when I can. I would love to follow this thread and view the videos but for me there is no link that I can find to the videos. I looked at the first posting and the "video 1" is there but is not a real link for me. I have tried using both firefox and internet explorer. Are there any suggestions? Thanks so much in advance! korak |

Welcome to the forum korak
There shouldn't be a link. You should be seeing the videos directly inside the first post of threads marked Part 1, Part 2, and so on. If you can't see the videos, try waiting a little bit and hit refresh. Nik Have you become an employee to your own business by chasing first page google rankings on a daily basis? RE: Part 1 - How To Create Niche/Authority Websites (Finding our initial topic)
Hello everyone
I am following along with the videos. In the 2nd video (part 1) Vita types 255w into KE2 and gets a lot of results. I tried this for practice but I only get the root keyword. I also typed AXN-8701 like Vita, and this too did not return anything except the root keyword. Has KE2 stopped supplying keywords for model numbers? Is my copy of KE2 faulty? If I type 'dog' I get lots of keywords, so the software works ok for proper words. Has anyone else experienced this? |

RE: Part 1 - How To Create Niche/Authority Websites (Finding our initial topic)
jpb1958, I tried a few KE2 searches to see if I got anything back other than the root word. Same as you, I got only the root word on all searches. I tried the same search Vita did in the video and I tried AXN-870. I also tried nuvi 265wt and 265wt, but still only got the root keyword for each run. In contrast, Google Keyword Tool shows a huge list of phrases for those terms. So, given that, I think it's possible that KE2 isn't functioning properly. An email to Brad Callen's support desk would answer the question.

RE: Part 1 - How To Create Niche/Authority Websites (Finding our initial topic)
I received a reply
I was requested to make sure that I had the latest version. So I did a search for 255w using Keyword Elite Engine ticked and did not get any results. But then I did a search for 255w with Google Suggestion Tool ticked and I got a few results. |
