Traffic Bug
Has anyone tried the Traffic Bug backlinking software before or have any opinions on it?

I have read an equal number of great and horrible reviews, so just don't know what to think about it... Maybe there is a problem with the software and it is working fine for some people and not for others?

Some people say it is boosting their ranking very quickly and they could get positions they couldn't get otherwise. Others are saying that their rankings are dropping after using it or they are not getting any results.

Would appreciate any reviews on whether this software is worth using...

Cheers,
Infinity

RE: Traffic Bug
Traffic bug is easy to set up and then you just forget it, it automatically over time
submits RSS feeds, adds bookmarks and submits to directory's. If you post an Ezinearticle you can add it to Traffic bug and associate it with the site you are linking too. It's a poor mans Senuke, but then $20 a month compared to $127 a month is some savings!

Senuke is obviously in a class by itself, but if you are like me traffic bug is affordable and time saving as you don't have to use other software to do your bookmarking and rss feeds and dir submitting, its all done for you under one roof while you sleep. Setting up a site only take several minutes. But at the end of the day, its the end results that counts, and as yet I can not comment on that, as it is still early days for me.

RE: Traffic Bug
Save your money...it is only good to quickly index a site because of all the directories that they have, but there is no real power to it. + they do NOT use proper anchor text thought here...

RE: Traffic Bug
a little update.. i've managed to get a lifetime membership on traffic bug.. Smile did a video testimonial.. lol

anyway, few words about it.. its great for new websites.. or maybe if you have multiple websites, autoblogs or just about anything you want to run on autopilot.. setup the links.. set aggression level:HIGH and forget about it..

its also good for making google crawl your article posts you made with senuke.. i had some trouble with google indexing them.. added the article links to traffic bug.. no problem after that

also adding your established websites wont hurt a bit.. it'll give em some extra juice.. Smile

its a great supplement to your marketing arsenal

for 20$ its well worth it..

c ya...

RE: Traffic Bug
For what it's worth, I used it for 8 days and shut it down.

The email responses I got from the directories indiacated that the submissions didn't even choose a category to be placed in.

RE: Traffic Bug
WoW...

I was a member of traffc bug for a number of months (didn't really keep track). Let's first start by saying that the gouys and program behind this are good. No scams or anything. But I think people are losing track on what the software is really for...

Plain and simple time saver. Traffic bugs major component is just bookmarking! Yes it "says" it submits rss feeds, although I never saw any evidence of this, but I'm sure they did what they said (just call it a gut feeling Smile )

they also submit your main domain to the search engines. I think most in here should know by now that this really isn't necessary, unless you are targeting traffic from some of the lessor search engines.... by why bother, you'll get picked up eventually by these guys.

So the real power of this is that they have created thousands of bookmarking accounts and place a bookmark to your site in this account. The accounts are also promoted and have a large volume, so they have a little authority, and more over time.... if they don't get shut off or banned (this is against some of the sites TOS, but everyone does it...).

My final thoughts as a user and active internet marketer. Traffic bug is a good deal and automates some of the leg work that you would have to do, via bookmarking at a staggered pace and submitting your rss feeds. But here is the thing. You shoud really be doing this yourself!

Create a master set of bookmarking accounts and make a base for all of your promotions. Be sure to not just bookmark your own stuff, bookmark your bookmark accounts with other bookmark accounts (hope you could follow this) and post these in a total random fashion.

This is easily done with SE nuke or a software like bookmarking demon (available at clickbank or the main domain). Over time you will have your own authority accounts that will get your sites indexed quick and have total control of what goes on them. If you want to save some time and don't want to keep track of accounts, etc, then this program is good. But if your on a budget or want total control of your accounts then I would use SEnuke and repost to these accounts or use Bookmarking Demon.

Hope this helps anyone that is interested.

RE: Traffic Bug
Traffic Bug is nice to have link juice flowing to your newly created websites... but I haven't really seen any high PR backlinks, but it still helps you get noticed.

RE: Traffic Bug
here was / is a big discussion about it on the warrior forum and the general feeling was disappointed that the traffic bug guy/s didn't respond to criticism or defend the product when their was multiple claims of no evidence of it doing what it says it does with backlinks etc.
I would love it to do what it says on the tin, but i would have loved for him to at least reply on the warrior forum and stand up for his product.
Open minded on this one and I would love to see that software proven to show its supposed to do.

RE: Traffic Bug
I had it for 4 months and simply could not tell that it was doing anything beyond the many other programs I am already using. Yes, I got the same e-mails to confirm some obscure article directory.

Added Traffic bug 4 months ago - noticed nothing
Stopped Traffic Bug 1 month - noticed nothing

For the $20 a month and all the work it takes to setup many websites = no noticeable effect = thumbs down
