My fan page for a job portal I run has 108 members http://www.facebook.com/pages/Singapore-...1363290844 and the main goals are:

1. Feed content automatically from the portal to fan page making this an additional channel for traffic and interaction.

2. I use FBML to put my sign up box in the fan page, this way I can get email opt-ins even from my FB page. This has helped get the email subscriber base to more than 500.

I would love to hear other opinions and uses of FB fan pages.

I personally found it very difficult to advertise on Facebook. Some people won't agree with me at all cos they are making a killing on FB.
I don't know why, but my ads keep getting turned down by FB. They manually review all the ads and are very fussy about ads.

Thank you for sharing! Just two questions:

1.) how can you post automatically the Job Description content on FB???
2.) FB does not see these notes as advertising?
