How can I find what are the keywords that a certain website ranks in top 100 in SEs?

Dear Vita, dear members,

This is a big question for me and I hope someone here will be able to give me an answer, especially because Vita is European...!

I have posted the same question elsewhere, so you may recognize it. Unfortunately, the questions remains a question for me, still. So here is it:

I have troubles in finding out what keywords a certain site targets and obviously what are the keywords the site ranks well in the major Search Engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing)… The site is quite big but has no META tags and the main index page, has their name as title...

I did some research by my own, but I got inconclusive results, so again, your help will be much appreciated.

Is it possible to tell me how can I effectively sort out my problem? For conformity, the site I am speaking about is not mine.

Please note that compete.com has no profile because this site is written in a foreign language...

I go to alexa.com to do a quick rundown on what keywords a website is getting most of its traffic from.

once you get to alexa.com , type in the website you want to check. Scroll down a lil and youll see the keywords tab.

you can also download the alexa toolbar.

After you do what Hoodlumn said, you can track those words in rankchecker (firefox plugin) and see where they rank. You can even export it to excel and track them over time.

I did what you suggested (I tried the demo / free version of link assistant for tracking) but I will definitely install rankchecker quite now!
