Selecting Products to PPC Promote
What criteria and method do you use to select a niche or products to promote. It's hard to know a head of time which products to pick that will be profitable and remain popular without becoming saturated quickly.

It's hard to know a head of time which products to pick that will be profitable and remain popular without becoming saturated quickly. Hi DSmith, Here is one of the emails I'm sending to my subscribers when they register on my blog (http://www.euserreviews.com), you will find some of the things you have to check before promoting a product. Hi {!firstname_fix} In the previous email, we had a quick look at a business model that is making me thousands of dollars of profits per week. All with free search engine traffic (I will cover this aspect in another lesson, I have only showed you the product selection process until now). Today we're going to focus on the crucial points to look at to when you want to promote an established product. Here, you have to be much more selective. Never promote a product which has a sales page doomed to failure. So before promoting an established product, it is vital to check that the sales page contain ALL the following elements: (This is especially true for digital, downloadable products) 1/ The first thing that you see once the page gets loaded should be a BIG headline talking about the main benefits one can get by using the product. Without a huge benefit in the headline, many people will just close the merchant's site without even reading the rest of the page. In addition, the few words that are following the headline will either motivate the visitor to read more or to stop here. So the sub headline must connect with the visitor on an emotional level. Example of a benefit oriented headline: "This System Makes Me At Least $171,168.06 Per Month And You Can Start Using It 15 Minutes From Now"... The benefit is that you can start profiting in just 15 minutes from now. Not in 1 month! Example of a captivating subheadline:
"Guaranteed to work even if you're "un-motivated"...In fact, it's best if you only put in an hour or so per day!" We all want to make it easily, and we don't have a lot of spare time so this subheadline assures us that we can do it... 2/ In the first few paragraphs, the merchant must talk about himself. The visitors want to know more about the product but before that, they need to know who is behind it and they need to know that they can trust this person. They need to know that this person knows what he is talking about and that he is more than qualified to help them fix their problem(s). 3/ Is the offer credible? Has this product already helped other people? The page MUST contain a lot of testimonials showing that ordinary people have been able to use the product with great success. It's all about social proof. If it's working for others then there are chances that it will work for me too! 4/ You MUST find a bullet list of ALL the benefits one will be able to get from using this product. The longer this bullet list, the more effective it is! Even better several bullet lists at different places of the sales page. 5/ You must also find a bullet list of ALL the features of the product. Before purchasing something, people want to know EXACTLY what they will get. A list of bullet points is a very persuasive element of a sales page. Many people purchase a product just because of ONE feature they want to get. Don't underestimate the power of bullet points. 6/ The merchant MUST offer bonuses related to his product. It happens very often that someone purchases a product just to get one of the bonuses. I know it happened to me several times... 7/ Is there a clear call to action? The merchant MUST tell the reader to TAKE ACTION NOW or to S- UBSCRIBE NOW (or any equivalent). If he doesn't tell the readers to do it NOW several of them will just think "hmmm I'm very interested...but I'll think about it and come back later...". Call to actions tell the readers to do it now and many will. 8/ A strong guarantee! All the risks must be on the merchant. Minimum is 30 days m. oney back guarantee. Clickbank requires the merchants to offer 2 months m. oney back guarantee minimum. Without a strong guarantee, many, and I do mean MANY, readers will just think to themselves they are not sure and that it's too risky... But with a guarantee they think that they have nothing to lose to try the product...after all if it doesn't work they can always ask for a refund. These are 8 CRITICAL points. If only one is missing, don't lose your time. There are a lof of other digital products you can promote. You can see an example of a good sales page here (WARNING: Don't be a compulsive buyer): http://euserreviews.com/MaverickMoneyMakers-M.html Now before the next email, do your homework. Decide if you want to promote a "new product" not released yet via the jvnotifypro list (like what I showed you yesterday) or established products. If you want to promote a new product, then pick one NOW. If you want to promote an established product, then pick one NOW! Do it NOW, really, so when you read my next lesson you can follow with us. Next time, you will learn if it is better to promote what you have selected via Pay Per Click or via Free Traffic. You're on the way to make some profits. If there is something that is not clear, don't forget that I'm just an email away. Sincerely, Vita Vee SEO DONE FOR YOU - Real People, Real Success... Read the amazing testimonials!

I just got hold of a free trial of Chris Carpenter's Google cash detective software...and it seems to do a great job of finding niches that people are already making consistent monies from...and it never ends...there are an infinite number of niches...I have just got to get over my "overwhelm"...and start somewhere...Now... |

RE: Selecting Products to PPC Promote
Probably the best resource for finding a good clickbank product to promote is http://www.cbengine.com/popular-clickban...port=paf-2
It gives you a list of the top performing products on clickbank by gravity. This is also a good place to see what niches are popular by the related products that are in the top. |

RE: Selecting Products to PPC Promote
A competitive niche is a good thing IMO. Lots of buyers, lots of money. Weight loss = good, Diabetes = good, Dating = good, Dog Training = good.
I hear it all the time. Its so competitive. Yes true, but its also lucrative and if you play your cards right you will often have a much higher chance of making money. This is the route I took. Also you may wish to checkout Micro Niche Finder its a great piece of software for finding small niches within niches. Good for the long tail. I use this extensively to find profitable niches and out of at least 20 niches that I have gone into from using Micro Niche Formula, only 4 have been unprofitable. |

RE: Selecting Products to PPC Promote
Your experience versus these people's experiences will be different. They might know how to do their PPC. They might've fine-tuned their PPC. Their industry is different. If you advertise for rhinestone jewelry, your conversion is going to be different from advertising for refrigerators. You can't rely on other people's experience to gauge your campaign.
That said, you should focus on Google AdWords. Why? Yahoo's new system, Panama, is all kinds of FUBAR. The ROI is not there. Google AdWords provides better return on investment (ROI). You should focus putting your budget into Google AdWords only - best bang for you search advertising buck. Do LOTS of keyword research carefully. Also, don't think you need to have #1 position for your PPC. That's a sure way to burn your budget. If you are on a budget, shoot for lower ad position, but let your budget get drawn out longer. And of course, make sure you are meticulous on your Ad titles and Ad copy - as well as landing pages. |

(07-07-2009 05:41 AM)Lloydh6494 Wrote: Hi Vita Hi Lloyd I strongly suggest you keep far away from PPC Bully. I have seen evidence that they lied during their prelaunch videos. I don't know if you remember, they recorded a video where they showed how in a few minutes they spied on a fatloss4idiots affiliate campaign, then cloned this campaign and made a sale in less than 1 hour. This very first video they showed us during the prelaunch phase is pure lies. I don't trust those people because if they can't use their software themselves to make 1 single sale and have to cheat to sell it then it tells long about the software itself. Of course I'm not saying this lightly, I have proof. In the so called video, they created their campaign and had a tracking id in their affiliate link, I mean at the end of the affilate link they had &tid={trackingid} or something similar. But when they showed us the clickbank report, the TID field was EMPTY! This means that the sale didn't come from their adwords campaign, if it did, then the TID field would not have been empty. The only way this TID is empty is that they bought the program themselves through their affiliate link without even clicking on their own ad. Vita Vee SEO DONE FOR YOU - Real People, Real Success... They could have also bought a copy of Fatloss4Idiots themselves so the sale would show up in their CB account. Way overpriced. Forget it!
