Inserting Banners in Signature

I am trying to figure out how to insert an affiliate banner link into my signature. I dont want to belabor VV with this so thought I would try here. Apparently html works on your profile page but not in the actual forum.

I have figured out how to insert a hyperlink in my sig but not a banner. I have tried using insert images several times but no luck. And I dont know how you would use BB code to insert a banner link.
Would love any assistance from someone that knows how.

well thanks for responding but unfortunately I still wasnt able to figure it out.
There is the banner code I was trying to insert:

If you have the time maybe you could show me show it would look with this code above.

The code should be like:

[url=http://www.headwaythemes.com/affiliates/idevaffiliate.php?id=444_0_1_4][img]http://www.headwaythemes.com/affiliates/banners/468x60.jpg[/img][/url]

No need to use height and width as well as the target attributes. Your signature will be shown as below:

Even though this is quite old, I thank you also! It's great to be able to go over stuff like this, so you don't feel like your asking a stupid newbie question!
