RE: Welcome! Present yourself here ;)
Hi everyone,
I'm Zlatko from Croatia. I'm in affiliate business 7-8 months. For now, it's going pretty well, except I'm fighting with the time, all the time ![]() A month ago I found out Vita's USA, then I saw this forum and the thread about Mo's Seonuking. That helps me to decide to outsource SEO, and to leave that part of the job to Mohammed. So far so good... Mo is a great, kind and very helpful guy, and my Google positions are better and better. This forum seems to be very helpful and friendly place, and I'm glad I found you

RE: Welcome! Present yourself here ;)
Hi everyone, I just wanted to give a quick hello and tell you a bit about myself.
I've been running an ecommerce site for about 11 years and started dabbling in Internet Marketing about three years ago. I started seeing some success in early 2010 through a combination of autoblogging (mostly EPN) and Internet Marketing affiliate offers. While I've found a few online resources that helped me greatly, it's very difficult to find ACTIONABLE advice. Most of my education has really been a combination of: 1) Seeing what other successful marketers do and trying to reverse engineer their model. This is fairly easy in the IM niche, because you can get a sense of "best practice" just by seeing what's consistent across the field. It's more difficult in niche affiliate marketing because successful people don't like to share their secrets, but over time I think I've managed to figure a lot of it out on my own. 2) Going with my gut. Again, I found this to be much easier when promoting IM products because you really have an opportunity to interact with your visitors. While my goal is obviously to make money, my nature was often to really try to go above and beyond for those who needed some one-on-one assistance. I also don't promote anything that I don't truly believe is valuable. While I didn't start out specifically trying to differentiate myself in this way, I think these two guiding principles can really help you stand out from most of the IM crowd and establish trust with your user base. This ultimately leads to more profits in the long run. 3) Taking action. Through the course of helping others, I've found the people destined for failure are the ones who ask too many questions up front because they want everything to be "perfect". While it's important to educate yourself, mistakes will inevitably happen and the best way to learn is through experience. If you feel like you understand 80% of what needs to be done, just get started and learn the other 20% along the way. I often find myself falling into the "paralysis of analysis" trap when I try and learn a new approach and I literally have to force myself into just taking action even when I don't fully understand something. 99% of the time this works out in my favor and my only regret is that I didn't take action sooner. Well, this first post seems to have gotten away from me. I started telling you about myself, then sort of trailed off into a little bit of a self-help post. Anyway, I happened upon VV's site while doing research on SENuke, and I'm very happy to have landed here...I've already found a ton of great information and I wish I had come across VV when I was first getting started. I'm really hoping to take my business to the next level, so my goals are to really try and build more authority sites. Most of what I've done have been micro niche sites, and even my IM success has generally been through focusing in on particular software products. Well, this post is already too long, so I guess I'll leave it at that for now. I hope to be an active participant in this forum and look forward to getting to know everyone. |

Hello,
I'm Frank B. I'm new to internet marketing and am here to learn. I'm no young whiz kid, I'm a 65 year old senior trying to figure out how to add some income to my social security. ![]() I've already spent a little time looking around the forums and it looks like a good place to be. Being new to most of this, I don't have much to contribute yet. But when I do, I'll be glad to add it to the pot. Best to all; Frank B. |
