FlexSqueeze Tutor
Finally have my blog indexed by google. I've not been able to find a post where new users to WP and FlexSqueeze meet.

Any flexsqueerers out there?

Thank you for responding. I'm still on the learning curve but learning little by little.

How long have you used flexsqueeze and can I have a pick at what you've done?

My site sucks but it's getting better. If you want a laugh, let me know.

Thanks for the look-see. Very nice. Got some good ideas from that. I hope you don't mind me using some of it as a templet. If I have any specific questions I'll pm you if that's ok.

p.s. give me some time before you ask to see mine. I need to do some major work and the fact that you've been doing this in a short time, (excuse me if I'm worng) has motivated me .....Thanks

RE: FlexSqueeze Tutor
Hey guys I use FlexSqueeze also - do any of you know how to change the font size on the over all template?

I could probably search for it but if someone could direct me toward it that would be great.

@Blu thunder. No problem..you can get as many ideas as you want. Do PM me if you have any questions. I will be glad to answer them! Smile

@fingerling - You can change that setting by going to Appearence >> FlexSqueeze theme options and then click on the "Blog General" tab. There you can change settings for the font size all over the blog.

Cheers

Thanks for that dark inspiration, saved me time, now I don't have to go searching for it.

Thanks.

Your site looks nice. My site almost looks like Vitas also except I kept the same color the came with.

RE: FlexSqueeze Tutor
Yup I've been using FlexSqueeze for a while now I keep coming back to it since it has such great flexibility Wink

http://www.carlvanderpal.com I just put this up the other day, still creating the header & footer graphics..but you get the idea of where I'm headed.

I'll be posting some content soon - about WordPress, IM products and some nice little tricks for Video SEO, plus what ever else I decide to put up there.

Smile
dark_inspiration, you might want to hide the bottom / footer feature section if you're not planning on using it?

Flexsqueeze Options -> Footer -> Use footer feature section? Set to "no"

The "From 0 To Profits" video series. Which is in the secure section, so you may not have access to it?

RE: FlexSqueeze Tutor
Hello everyone,

I would appreciate help on FlexSqueeze. I was creating some text widgets and at one point I could no longer save my Flexsqueeze options. I disabled all the plugins, but nothing changed. I also went back to the original WP theme, switched back to FlexSqueeze and have the same problem.
Whenever I try to save anything in FlexSqueeze, I get redirected to http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/themes.ph...tions.php, with "Oops, That wasn't found" message.Huh

I would appreciate any pointers regarding where to investigate.
Many thanks and kind regards,
TB

Be Your best,

maybe best of downloading a fresh copy of the template, just in case the previous one went a.w.o.l?

RE: FlexSqueeze Tutor
If your theme options are not saving it also may be that wp doesn't have permission to save it.

Make sure that style.css and layout.css permissions are set to a minimum of 666.

style.css can be found in themes/flexsqueeze/style.css
and layout.css can be found in themes/flexsqueeze/colorpicker/css/layout.css

RE: FlexSqueeze Tutor
There is also style.php too..this is for when you edit the main theme. So make sure you check that too.

RE: FlexSqueeze Tutor
Carlos, Nik,

Many thanks for your messages. I've sorted out the problem, it appears that the problem was somehow related to my fiddling with the .htaccess file(s).

So I'm back in business, so to speak.Smile

Warm regards,
TB
