I am a newbie and now I have to study about marketing esp : SEO. Link wheel is one of the methods of SEO. I don't know about Link wheel much. Can U help me?

The classic linkwheel is a bit outdated. It really is an extended explanation on how they are constructed. What would be better to tell you is how the best way to use web 2 sites.

The best way to use web 2 sites is to create a group of them, link them all to your money page then randomly interlink them to each other.

Any other method, especially the linkwheel is easily detected by Google as a linking scheme and will result in Google disregarding those links, making them virtually useless.

The linkwheel is a structured method of interlinking that is unnatural. The idea is to make it look as natural as possible. Random interlinking is closer to the way it would happen naturally.

There is no picture to make. That's the point. Making a picture would by it's very nature look unnatural. Simply make each property you build link back to your money page and each of those properties link to each other in a totally random way. Senuke gives you the option to randomly interconnect them as they are created. If you are doing them manually, just get out some dice!

It's very easy, just make sure you don't place any reciprocal links, but if you do it in the way below you won't have this problem.

Say you have an account at a wordpress.com and you make a post. Then you create an account at wikispaces and link the post to wordpress.com. Then you create an account at blogspot, make a post, and randomly link it to one of the previous two web2.0 properties. Then you create an account at friendster.com, make a post, and randomly link it to one of the previous three web2.0 properties. Then you create an account at blog.com, make a post, and randomly link it to one of the previous four web2.0 properties.

Do you get the picture. You never close the loop so there is no link wheel. It would actually look more like a pyramid.

I agree. The old method of link wheels is becoming ineffective. Not that it doesn't work at all, just not as well as it use to.
