Is there a free auto indexing notifier?

Does anyone know if there is some kind of free program that will "notify" me when my site/pages are indexed? Something maybe I could run in the background or online that would email me?

when i start a new site... i just bookmark a google site search and open the bookmark when ever i think about it until it is indexed...

and by this i mean going to google and using "site:www.mysite.com" and then bookmarking the results page...

and when a page on my site shows up in the results... it's indexed...

Oh, there's an easy way to do that. Use Google Alerts.

http://www.google.com/alerts

enter your website URL as the search term, or the name of the post in "quotes", or any other thing you want to monitor.

Change how often to - As it happens.

You will get an email the moment Google finds your site. Also a great way to keep track of your competitors.

Thanks! Actually I have the alert set up because I was thinking that would work but wasn't sure. I did it in quotes too. Cool!

So I wonder if that will work if I put the same thing for a post...

i.e. "www.domainname.com/reallycoolpost"
