Starter question

Hi everyone,

Okay to begin with, i am an extreme novice at this business
but more than eager to learn so lets get started with my first
NOOB question:

I've watched all VV's free vids (as i cant purchase the others
them being out of sale atm Q_Q)
And made notes and learned tons from em,
but one thing is that im missing.
Ok you find your product, you get best possible
keywords for it, you start your website
and boom whats next?

How do you profit for marketing a product thats
in the top10 items of amazon for example,
does amazon have same kinda feature that clickbank has
or something?
That you'd gain profit from each click into there or sheesh
brain is melting so had to pop the question

Hi and Welcome to the forum,

If your refering to being an affiliate so you gain commisions then yes is the answer you need to sign up to Amazons Associate program they have excellent support and training advice.

Just for future reference Affiliate can also have other terms such as Associate, partner etc etc you get my drift.

To make money from Amazon, you need to sign up for an associates account. It is free to do and Amazon pays on a percentage of the sale price. It is not the greatest percentage so that is why a larger ticket item is preferred. Just go to https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/ to sign up.

The next thing is t try and get targeted traffic to your site. This means vistors that have some interest in the content on your site and are therefore most likely to buy. I think the most reliable method I have used is search engine optimization. Problem with SEO though is it takes time for your sites to climb in the search engines. So while you are waiting for this to happen and building all those backlinks, you can engage in other traffic generating activity like article marketing or social networking

Amazon has it's own affiliate program called associates program. I think it was amazon that started the affiliate marketing model

For amazon its their own affiliate program and if you are looking for faster results then go for ppc like google adwords although its not that easy as it was few years before. But if you are low on budget then go for seo and remember traffic or audience is everything if you don't have traffic then you would be like retired George Bush no ones care about and your webpage will be laying alone in the dark corner of Internet.

If you decide to use ppc then for amazon you have to use a landing page. Direct linking is prohibited. At least for amazon usa, last time I checked before christmas it was allowed to send direct traffic to uk amazon.
