recommend an adsense theme
could any one recommend a high CTR adsense theme. i have used most of the adsense ready themes but no clicks at all. one of the highly recommended one is prosense by doshdosh is not looking good and xfactor themes do not work on my WP (dont know why).

i have about 50 impressions per day of course not all are unique visitors but have no clicks at all.is it right that google cheat at number of visitors and clicks because my stats(stat press)shows more than my adsense account.

RE: recommend an adsense theme
Hi thinkdifferent,

Whose version of the xfactor theme are you using - perhaps I could take a look at it and see where the problem is?

I use my own child themes - here are a couple of versions http://hiking-tents.org, http://thickyogamats.org and http://strollersfortwins.org, but they require a bit of fiddling.

A similar layout/structure to xfactor is the theme ad-flex-niche which you can find here http://www.vklabx.com/wordpress-themes/w...-niche.php - you will see 9 demo sites listed, so you can take a look at them to see what is possible.

RE: recommend an adsense theme
Hi thinkdifferent,

I don't know the click bump xfactor theme and I would need to look at the code to see where the problem is.

It is a bit early to say as I am still experimenting with them. I thought that the standard xFactor style was a bit plain, but it is still doing well for me. Also, the yoga site has a low click through, but I think that is because it probably gets a lot of curiosity visitors as it was one of the niches mentioned in John's xFactor course.

The prosense theme is a good theme and quite popular, but I think that the big problem you face is that you are using freehosting which will severely limit the chances of success for your website.

I have a few larger websites (eg. savvyhealthfitness.com and alternative-energy-fuels.com) that I have been developing for years, but as I diversified into other areas, adsense, amazon, eBay and etc. it became difficult to keep adding fresh content to some of these sites so I decided to use WPRobot. These sites also have adsense and I have not had any problems, altho they are established websites.

However, I do review all the articles that WPRobot grabs to weed out the rubbish before they are posted - but at least I don't have to write and/or search for new content.

as regard the could which part should we look for (PHP files).

As regard click bump xfactor theme here is where i get it from http://clickbump.com/the-x-factor-adsens...hread-pdf/

iam using free hosting but i think i have fair position in google 8th page and ranked the 7th in 1st page of yahoo. do these results any good for a free hosting solution.

i now understand that you are using adsense with wprobot safely so iam now encouraged to do so thank you.

RE: recommend an adsense theme
I would have to load the theme and then have a look at any error messages that occur, but it looks like a paid theme or only available if you ordered xFactor through clickbump's link.

You really need to be on page 1 for your targeted keywords as page 1 gets most of the traffic. 1st spot gets the most click-throughs and then it drops dramatically as you go down the places - something like position 1 gets 42% of clicks, position 2 - 12%, position 3 - 9%, position 4 - 6%, position 5 5%, down to position 10 around 3%.

I would recommend establishing the website first before adding the adsense into it!

RE: recommend an adsense theme
HI , thinkdiffernet ,After the tons of the reserach what theme you like to apply and can u send its link?

I am makeing right now adsense + autoblog .

Regarding your question about adsense would be safe on the auto blog or not ? I am also quite confuse before and i serach a lots on diffenrt forms and what other more experience people saying about this .

The conclusion is if you put duplicate content - that would not be cause of the banning .For example you can see tons of article directories which have dupicate content and also adsense .but if you put spun article content and that content can not be possible to read for the humans . Than adsense might be ban your account .If your spun content is readable than you are safe.

Its great if other people can share their experience about adsense + autoblog ....

actually i have tested many adsense ready themes (used to get it via searching google and almost tried so many). i have then stumbled upon xfactor theme but for whatever reason made problems upon activation so i decided to see how other people in my niche are doing, what theme do they use and try to simulate them. at last got to the point to use 2 column theme whether the column left or right and try to stick to guidelines in ads positioning.

CoolyKid(the post before this one) have posted some site in which he uses some themes with good CTR.

now iam using a cold blue theme(i love blue color)also its the same color as my targeted competitor. here is the link for theme

http://webrevolutionary.com/coldblue/

of course other members here might have different opinion and it will be good to hear them too.

thanks for the autoblog with adsense. supposed now to have an autoblog with duplicate post checker plugin and iam safe.Big Grin

RE: recommend an adsense theme
For wordpress, I'd recommend you to put a 320x200 ad box between the post tittle and post body. This has been proven to be the best ad en best position to get clicks from. Use a sidebar with the skyscraper ad box. This can easily be achieved manually.

Hi Baby V,

Almost all my websites are my own child themes based on the Hybrid theme framework. You need to have some knowledge of CSS to really use them as I have never tried to work on the backend of these themes to simplify usage (as I am the only one using them).

I have just completed some new adsense designs (as I just hit $200.00 for the month on a handful of sites) first one is http://www.camping-air-mattress.com and I have a few more - I will let you know when they are up and you can have a look. Most of these designs are based around the very successful XFactor Micro Niche Adsense Course that was a WSO.

No I don't, as I tend to follow the XFactor recommendation with a 336 Adsense ad straight in front of the visitor, which is where you want your visitors eyes to be drawn.

The adsense ad is also in the prime position as per the "eyes heatmap" diagram.

That's if you wanted to use my child themes - however, you should be able to find some fairly clean adsense ready themes such as ad-flex-niche at vklabx[dot]com/wordpress-themes/wordpress-theme-ad-flex-niche.php

Just added another XFactor style here twinairmattress[dot]org
