Question about Amazon

Question about Amazon
I'm completing the setup of a Wordpress blog and I've been told by Amazon that I can't have buyers click from my ppc ad and go directly to their site. So, I figured I'd create a landing page and have it to send visitors to Amazon.

My question to you is whether this is the best way to do business with Amazon or is there a better way I'm overlooking? I'm concerned about my visitors getting turned off by the additional click.

Please advise. I watched the videos but they didn't get that far. I didn't see the final site setup for the "car gps systems".

RE: Question about Amazon
Well instead of 'landing page' how about a product page.

Watch the vids again.

You will see his method of taking 1 product and doing your keyword research to actually make a broad store that has to do with the overal product.

Your customer will be happy b/c they will see things like accessories and gadgets, etc.

Try to avoid PPC tho.

PPC = bad UNLESS u know what you're doing.

RE: Question about Amazon
I would suggest you to make it a squeeze page kind so that you can collect email address which will definitely be helpful in the long term.

RE: Question about Amazon
Amazon only pay 4%, so you better calculate your ppc ads cost and your profit. Its better to do SEO with amazon rather than PPC, because there are still many keywords that have low competition and easy to rank.

RE: Question about Amazon
r u serious? You r using ppc to drive traffic to amazon? It's like using ppc to drive traffic to your adsense site lol.my advice would be to promote cpa offers with ppc.If u want to work with amazon forget about ppc, pick a microniche and rank the site in SE.

RE: Question about Amazon
Well PPC for amazon offers could work in theory, but only for the really high price tag items sold on amazon, like jewelry, watches, machinery etc. There are items sold on Amazon with price tags over 100 000, thats a 4000$ commission right there. The question remains, if there's big enough a market?

RE: Question about Amazon
correct me if i'm wrong, but doesnt Amazon already prevent us from driving traffic directly to their website through PPC
affiliates doing it wont be credited with their hardwork
better build a landing page at the same time collect email list
anyway, Amazon still the biggest online retailers out there
and about 40% of their revenue derived from affiliates
