Facebook Overtakes Google As Most-Visited Site
Although the "thud" wasn't verified until this afternoon, it seems that an online giant fell a couple of days ago. According to new data from Hitwise, Facebook managed to beat Google in terms of visits between March 7th and March 13th, becoming the most visited website in the U.S. for the week.

RE: Facebook Overtakes Google As Most-Visited Site
Hey guys facebook advertising is really powerfull, you miss something if you don't try it.
The amount of traffic you can get per day is completely insane. Sometimes using SEO and SEM you're limited by the market size (aka the number of people who look for specific set of keywords everyday). If you use facebook and if your product has a broad appeal to specific demographics the amount of traffic you can get is potentially unlimited as it's based on the banner advertising model (you don't bid on keywords but you bid on demographics). if you want to advertise on Facebook here is what i would recomend you to do: -find a couple of CPA offers -write a review type LP -create 3 variations of your LP -install google website optimizer -set-up your experiment within GWO (to keep it simple create an a/b experiment) -install prosper 202 (for the tracking and eventually do some cloacking) -create at least 25 banners (110p X 80px) -be sure to segment your demographics using subid for prosper 202 -submit your banners -have a glass of french wine -submit your banners again if they have been disaproved -analyse your results, stop advertising to demographics sets who don't respond well to the offer -optimize your LP again -normally you should have a positive ROI after a couple of days of tweaking Playing with Facebook really does worth it but you need some cash upfront in order to be able to do some test in order to increase your conversion rate. The difference between classic PPC and FB advertising is a bit like driving a car compared to driving a formula 1 Hope that helps |
