Most likely Camtasia Studio. It's the industry standard.

That's right, I'm using Camtasia. It's very easy to use and does all I need and more. I think there's even a 30 day free trial so you can try it before purchasing.

I recommend you to use Camtasia.

As Vita and lsargent said , it's very easy to use and you can find tutorials easy also.

There's also Camstudio.org. A completely free and VERY basic screen recorder, but it gets the job done. No timelines or effects and such though. Just plain recording.
It does have a built in AVI to SWF (Flash) converter though.

Btw, speaking of converters, if you need to convert media (documents, images, audio, video) from one format to antother in a hurry and you're missing a specific tool to do it, go to http://media-convert.com/
It's also free and there are lots of advanced options for converting for those who need it.

The conversion happens on a server so you have the delay of upload/download, but if you need to convert and then immediately share something, they will host the converted file you for you for a few days.
