Just choose the domain name(s) you want don't take any other offers like hosting and on the checkout use coupon code: dollardomain The campaign lasts until May 31st. Livonian |

So after that if it is expensive, is it troublesome to move it to another domain name service? I'm worried a bit about hearing before that some domain providers will freeze your domains for no reason sometimes and take it for themselves, like GoDaddy. Yes, it's for the first year, but it's not expensive after that. Don't remember exactly, but something like 8 dollars. Check the homepage for more information

RE: Domain names for $1
Darktony is correct. I also bought a few myself today and found out. It appears the old offer no longer applies. Still pretty good at $3.99, so i guess we should get in while we can.

RE: Domain names for $1
Seems ok. Asked and was given the following pricing from two others for shifting domains -
Namecheap .com domain transfer will cost you $7.99, but Domain is also renewed for 1 year. You will also receive free one year whoisGuard subscription along with free one year SSL certificate. Godaddy .com domain transfer $6.99. Domain is also renewed for 1 yr. |

RE: Domain names for $1
Does transferring domain registrars affect your rankings?
I have been told that when buying aged domains you should keep the same registrar so that big G does not loose the trust factor which the domain may have built up over the years. Is this true? Maybe VV & company can give their opinion on this. |

RE: Domain names for $1
Namecheap has got a great coupon good for the rest of September. Details here:
http://www.namecheap.com/sep10promo/tran...r-4.99.asp They only mention saving on transfers there, but if you use the coupon on purchases you'll see that you can get those for $5.99, which is a pretty good price. I usually pay $8.81 at Namecheap using the coupon of the month that they usually have. This September coupon is the best I've seen for them in quite a while. Pat |
