How much do you make on adsense

I did it a long time ago for a different site. I hope I'm not breaking any rules for using the adsense code on another site. I don't even remember which site I originally did it with. Let me look through my email and look through my account to see what I can find.

What type of site was this, did it have original content, how old is the domain.

Well actually i think the problem is that as they say in the email "i'm promoting products that encourage the clicking on ads" which is not the case I don't believe.

And there is now way to communicate back with them.

I don't know nik. The email is dated march '08. I really don't have a clue what site it was.

Ok that's cool,

I think what the problem may be is that on my review/bonus posts I say "this page is for so and so - click below if your looking for so and so"

Therefore encouraging the reader to click if there looking for the information, and google probably thinks the visitor will click on their ads.

I think what I will do is post more articles to mask the review/bonus pages and submit the application again in a week or so, since I will not be using adsense on my review pages anyway.

Do you do any type of research for the anchor text when you promote your article pages. Or just use parts of the title that sound good as anchor text.

I was looking through my account to see if I can find where they list my site that it was approved for. But it's not in there. Sorry.

Surely there must be plenty of people that know a lot about adsense here. I don't really know anything about it.

I really wouldn't try and get into adsense using your review website the best way is to set up a quick informational website that isn't advertising anything you can pick up a plr how to pack of articles about any subject (you probably already have something on your hard drive).

Then set up a website buy a domain tbh you might want to do a little keyword research for a domain that can rank on it's own something with no real competition and not too long. Then throw up a blog and use the plr to populate it. Add some images to enhance it a bit add the usual stuff Privacy policy terms etc then use that to apply for adsense.

After that you can use adsense on any domain you own and even on things like squidoo.

Hope that helps you can probably get all that done in a couple of hours.

PS Jack if already have an adsense account then you can just use it on any website you own just make sure you have this disclaimer included in your Privacy Policy

1 ridiculously simple way to get your adsense application approved. I did this 2 months ago and my application was instantly approved.

Create an account on Hubpages. Preferably a new account. Simply create a unique article (must be 100% unique) about a product review. Here's mine as an example:-

Once your article is reviewed and approved by Hubpage team then follow these steps:-

1. Go to My Account option in Hubpages.
2. Click on Affiliate Settings
3. Under Affiliate Settings there is a Google Adsense option.. if you sign up for adsense through there google will approve your application because you have an approved article on Hubpage.

Easy done!

Sorry Nik, I missed this question before.

The only research I did was to enter the url into the Google keyword tool and took the top most relevant terms and used them as anchor text. My goal was not so much to rank them, but to make my site as a whole relevant to the IM niche.

Going back to the original question.

I have been using Adsense sporadically for a few years, but randomly. In November 0f 2008, I made .99 cents in total. My first $100 check took a year and a half. But in December 08 I made a conscious effort to increase adsense ads on all my sites. I don't use it on all my sites, only on product type sites, but I generally bring in about $150 a month. Not much, but it adds up.
July 2010, my top site made $50, but more than $500 was made through an affiliate program. Of course, the obvious question is why not remove it and keep the more profitable affiliate program only.
Because, I see the adsense as a type of Google *fee*. After all I am on the first page at number #2 behind the manufacturer, and am unwilling to do anything to upset things.

Back in 2005 I made over $225K with Adsense using auto-generated sites with a piece of software called "Traffic Equalizer". It was my first big hit online and was the closest thing to printing money...but soon Google realize these site were crap and deindexed most of them. The funny thing is I still have 10-12 of these sites still up and making me $200-300 a month and they were no different than the ones that were pulled down.

Yes, I too was lucky enough back in 2004-2005 to have made over 100k in Adsense earnings with just 2 arbitrage sites. Those were the days.

After Google shut them down I put them on Yahoo & Microsoft & they had been paying me about $250 a month for the last few years.

Last month I saw a surge in earnings from one site to $1200 & this month is even better (yesterday $80). Not sure what happened but suspect it is all about the Yahoo/Bing merger.

Those of you who still have old sites might want to dust them off & put them on Yahoo/Bing. See what happens.

ah i being seeing these mfa sites and this lead me to do some research. These types of sites are highly optimize for their target keywords and have just one page of content. Whenever I seem this site I think they are easy to beat because most of them lack authority and site structure.

So are these mfa sites easily to outrank or what.

I am currently averaging about $50 a day with adsense. Of course, thats because I rank for a few of my big keywords, so the traffic is targeted which means I get a decent amount of clicks.
Although I am not making big money with adsense yet, I can see how you could make $100s a day if you have the traffic and the money making keywords in your pages.
